Actually, some of the sports books opened up at UWM +1, however now it is a consistant -2.5 across the board.
My prediction:
UWM: 64 SLU: 54

LOL, yea I tend to look at the lines a lot more with friends living in Las Vegas. Nothing like getting to work this mornig with a message asking me if UWM is a good bet at +1. Actually these guys only bet Mid Major (mostly MAC football, some HL and MAC hoops) teams and do pretty well. Anyway, its not to late to get on some of this sweet action!! We all could use a little extra spending money this holliday season!!

We all could use a little extra spending money this holliday season!! I was in Vegas the first week of last January and did four-game Horizon League parlays left and right ... Damn upstart Wright State! I also was in Reno when UWM was in Boise for the NIT (was tempted to make the six-hour drive up to the game). I was positioned next to the score update machine at the Silver Legacy for nearly two hours, trying to be the first on the updates. As the final score came over, my head slumped in my hands. The guy next to me said, "What's wrong? UWM covered!" .... YEAH BUT I WANTED THEM TO WIN!!

As for the game UWM is a good team. They play defense like UAB does, pressing all of the time. Their big guns are Joah Tucker, an undersized PF who is developing a nice all-around game (originally signed with Bradley), Chris Hill, their PG is a dual scoring/assist threat, Ed McCants is their starting PG and is ok but I like Hill better, and Adrian Tigart is a stud in the paint who didn't get high-major looks due to his height but should be playing at a higher level. Dwyane will have his hands full breaking their trapping press. I didnt know Bruce changed Ed's position

Adrian got pleanty of high major looks. He also commited before his Senior season if I remember correctly. He is a stud in the paint, and has been for quite some time. Could probably play at quite of few bigtime schools.

dont worry...UWM will take this game easily. STL isn't THAT great of a squad. they beat DePaul last year (who later won a share of the CUSA championship) but that was about it...
the way they started their season this year doesn't show too much solidity...but no one can be underestimated.
UWM: 62 STL: 55

St. Louis has lost to some pretty good teams...Oral Roberts and Hawaii. E. Michigan was their only "bad loss" so far this year. Either way it should be a good win for the program. We just have to end this game coming out of the half.
Later, UWMfreak
