Damnit! I would have loved to have earned some win shares for the Horizon League!

I think Bucky gets to Round 2 and loses to Duke. Marquette has a shot at the Final 4 if Kotek - or however you spell it- is healthy James Madison (31-3) is a tough draw.

Kentucky beat North Carolina and Tennessee on a neutral court, beat Bama, won at Auburn, won at Florida, won at Mississippi State ... I think they're pretty good.

If it were up to me I would add a preliminary round similar to how the tournament was run in the early 80s prior to going to 64. The preliminary game winners were counted as making the tournament the losers were not counted as making it. A literal playin game. I would basically take the 8 -12 First out at large teams and give them a chance to make it Expand the tournament, without really expanding it. Kinda like the NBA Play in tournament

In my opinion, you have already accomplished that.

It’s the teams that fell short in tournament play, teams that were in the discussion for the field but didn’t make the cut. It would be mid majors not teams 8 and 9 from the big boys

They couldn't have screwed the NIT up any more if they had tried. Damn, I can't WAIT for that Xavier-Georgia showdown!!!
