Idk about you but I don’t want us accepting another CBI bid. We had higher expectations going into the year and despite all the injuries we almost met those. That would really send a poor message to not only the fans of our program but also to the players who worked so hard to get to the big dance all year. I’d be fine with skipping the postseason this year. Without knowing the specific financial requirements for these pay-to-play tournaments, it is hard for us fans to know what the best position to take is. Last year's agreement to play was probably worth the expense. It helped legitimize an important incremental step forward for the program. This year, there is hardly any incremental advantage. I do not know the costs, but I am guessing we could spend our limited resources more wisely than paying to play this year. CP, I'm fairly certain that the superior option this year would be a road game in the CIT. Previously, those could always be had in exchange for an agreement to play in an event the ensuing year, which could potentially be a BIG help with scheduling. In other words, we may not need to pay ($27,500) to play AND we could possibly secure a couple of quality opponents for 2024-25!

By the looks of IG and other socials, I don't think many of the team are in any type of game practice mode. They all deserve a good break after a long grueling season. I don't see us playing a post season game.

Well, at least we didn't lose like Brown in the Ivy final. Horrific finish. Very reminiscent of how Butler lost to Florida in 2000!

Kinda weird how all of you HATE Marquette…. No comment on UW though lmao As an Uber Driver I can tell you horror stories about picking up MU students. Including a guy who threatened to "call the Marquette Police and report you for stealing my girlfriends phone" after I told him that I would bring him the phone she left in car after I dropped off the passengers who had found it in back seat. Last weekend when one of them called someone was passed by "a faggit" I objected. They basically told me because they go to a Catholic school its ok to do that. Then there's the" Marquette Ride" where five or six try to get in your car and act shocked when you tell them you can't take that many. Never had a problem with a UWM, Alverno, MSOE, Nt. Mary, or Cardinal Stritch ride. Just MU. So yes I hate Marquette.

Did you catch Oakland's draw? See ya!!! Definitely a tough draw for them, but their non-conference schedule is usually brutal, and they hung in there on the road at Ohio State and Illinois in relatively close losses. They also lost by less than ten to Drake who's in. They did lose handily to Dayton and MSU, who both made the tournament. I wouldn't say they've got a good shot at the upset, but I'm also not willing to automatically discount the possibility - especially if they're hot from 3.

Hate seeing mid-majors up against each other in the first round. That 5-12 between Saint Mary's and Grand Canyon should be fun to watch though.

Did you catch Oakland's draw? See ya!!! UK shoots the 3 well so it will be interesting to see how that zone does. Kentucky is also really dumb and prone to making bad decisions. Oakland may have a chance.

I think Bucky gets to Round 2 and loses to Duke. Marquette has a shot at the Final 4 if Kotek - or however you spell it- is healthy

I don’t think Oakland will win but they have a shot. Kentucky is over seeded. If Oakland is hot from three that’ll be a game.

Did you catch Oakland's draw? See ya!!! Not your normal Kentucky juggernaut. I think Oakland will hang tough.
