Two shockers today. Princeton losing to Brown Florida Atlantic losing to Temple. I've been waiting all day for Grand Canyon vs red hot UT-Arlington in the WAC finale. I'm hoping all of today's shockers are over by the time that game finally tips off.

Kinda weird how all of you HATE Marquette…. No comment on UW though lmao Hmmm, probably something to do with pretentiousness and the Board of Regents always favoring Madison over other UW schools.

Long Beach St and NC State finish improbable runs to punch their dance tickets. First ACc title for NC state since 1987, when they were coached by the legendary Jim Valvano.

Grambling State, coached by former Panther Donte Jackson, also punched their first-ever ticket as champs of the SWAC. Jalen Johnson from last year's team is averaging 21 minutes, 7.6 points, and 3.9 boards/game for the Tigers.

Feel like a lot of people don’t know he started what Gonzaga is today

Has there ever been an actively fired coach that made the tournament?

A few CBI notes (not sure if anyone has heard anything about the Panthers postseason chances?): So far these schools have accepted bids: - Northern Colorado (NET 188) - Evansville (NET 203) - UC San Diego (NET 258)
Milwaukee is currently 214 in NET.

Idk about you but I don’t want us accepting another CBI bid. We had higher expectations going into the year and despite all the injuries we almost met those. That would really send a poor message to not only the fans of our program but also to the players who worked so hard to get to the big dance all year. I’d be fine with skipping the postseason this year.

Also, many teams have already been rejecting the NIT bids too. I would think BJ would not play in the tourney if we get in but who knows at this point, since technically he has not said he is leaving yet.

I support Bart and the players with whatever they decide. This isn't electing to play at the Klotsche. This is continuing or not continuing their season. If B.J., Faizon, Kentrell, Eli, et al want to play more games, they have my FULL endorsement.

I’d be fine with skipping the postseason this year. Without knowing the specific financial requirements for these pay-to-play tournaments, it is hard for us fans to know what the best position to take is. Last year's agreement to play was probably worth the expense. It helped legitimize an important incremental step forward for the program. This year, there is hardly any incremental advantage. I do not know the costs, but I am guessing we could spend our limited resources more wisely than paying to play this year.
