Whoops, I meant 210 & 110. Right across the road bench. Or 226. Move family to 225.

Which I'm sure the students who occupy them will appreciate. π all 15 of them, idk why theres the obsession of the students being on the sideline itll look awful when 20 people show up in those high value seats. Until the average student count is into the 100s there shouldnt be any debate about moving them.

Until the average student count is into the 100s there shouldnt be any debate about moving them. The idea is to get more than 20 students per game in future seasons. Some posters complain on this message board and others in the wild that the athletic department does not do enough to promote the program effectively to generate student interest. Don't you want the athletic department to be proactive? My "obsession" is just one of many marketing ideas that any pro-active athletic department should consider. As a bonus, this particular idea would cost it next to nothing. Again, I did not mean to hijack the thread. I just raised the issue hereΒ because PFW students were along the sidelines for this game. They appeared to be very much into the game, and it showed on TV. IMO, it appeared to generate a better college basketball environment than had they not been there. My guess is those students are more likely to come back than had they been hidden like an afterthought several feet beyond the baseline. Perhaps next time they'll bring a friend. Your ideas for increasing attendance among students and non-students are always welcome. But let's do that in the appropriate thread. Here is one of them.Β uwmfreak.proboards.com/thread/7899/attack-apathy

But you wont get an engaged student body from a middling team in a bad conference when MU and UW are what most kids grow up watching and cheering for. Thats the reality of it. Im probably one of the few posters here who grew up as a UWM fan going to games as a kid before I enrolled at the university.
