Everyone here would be ranting about the athletic department if word got out they had turned down a national TV opportunity so the game time wouldn't be moved two hours. I also will probably not be able to make it now and it sucks, but it is what it is.
I also have Badger football season tickets and most of those game times aren't decided until two weeks in advance. I'm not going to stop supporting the program with season tickets just because they are playing by the rules of 2024 where TV is king.

The first time change using weather as the excuse was likely a misstep, and deserved some backlash.
This is a national TV game moving the time up 2 hours on a Saturday. This is something our program wants and needs. Deal with it.

Oh, we can "deal with it," but we don't have to like it. TV rules everything and many programs confront this on a regular basis and I get that. Consider the 5 p.m. tip. What an undesirable time for dinner with so few offerings at the Arena! Hey, I'm just speaking truthfully about what many on here are surely thinking.

One other thing: I'm really not angry, but rather disappointed that I likely won't be in attendance to ridicule and taunt Green Bay!

Sounds like an opportunity for one or two additional vendors to open concessions for this game ? ? ?

If we win we will be insufferable to Reynolds after how he acted following the first game this year.

I figured the time change would probably happen. I complained a lot about the previous time change, but there is a huge difference between changing a game time 21 hours before the rescheduled game time with no notice whatsoever that the time could be changed and a time change a week and a half before the rescheduled game time that was a reasonably well known possibility for months. It obviously stinks that this means some of the team’s biggest fans won’t be able to make it (or will potentially arrive late), but I can’t blame the university for this one at all.

Yep, it's not the University. It's ESPN that changed the time.

Yep, it's not the University. It's ESPN that changed the time. Haha, well, that too. But even if it was the university in this case, an 11 day lead time is far better than 21 hours.

There’s no comparison to the situation earlier this season, this was a known possibility something I said they should have done earlier in the week for the Cleveland st game. It’s also two weeks before not under a day.
