Does anyone know if the Athletic Department will be offering flight/ticket packages for the games in Las Vegas? Looks like right now roundtrip is about $430 on Southwest.

I found a US Airways round-tripper for $289 with a stop in Phoenix on Priceline FWIW.

According to Oregon State's non-conference schedule, Alcorn State might be the 8th team in the MGM Grand Event. According to Bloggingthebracket.com, it is Alcorn State (11-17, 315 RPI in 2013-14). Alcorn State is not on the Oregon State schedule. Alcorn State schedule came out and has nothing with Vegas on it.

According to the same site, Alcorn State is now in the 2K Sports Classic at Cal, at Texas and in Fargo against Hampton and in a consolation final.
By the way, we may play another game at the end of the season at the beginning of March.

I've been checking daily as I'm really eager to see who the 4th team in the bracket is.
Hopefully someone is confirmed soon.

At this late stage, a round-robin "tournament" in Vegas with ULL and ORU is a distinct possibility.
Meanwhile, the season finale could be scheduled against a team hoping to build its postseason resume.

And that round-robin is exactly what will happen in Vegas now - mgm.bdglobalsports.com/?page_id=18Monday, November 24th - Milwaukee vs. Louisiana at 3 PM PT. Tuesday, November 25th - Oral Roberts vs. Louisiana at 6 PM PT. Wednesday, November 26th - Milwaukee vs. Oral Roberts at 1 PM PT. Also, because a 4th team wasn't able to found, both Oregon State and Oklahoma State lose a home game from this event.

As I thought! On another note, still waiting on Panthers to release gametimes for it's home games.

We just can't seem to get into a genuine pre - conference tournament, but I love this.
It's far better competition than Alcorn State or anyone else they might have brought in at this late stage.

Just got off the phone with srtdriver.
Our home schedule includes a Monday, three weekend afternoons, a Sunday evening (5 p.m.) and multiple Wednesdays.
Are they trying to drive down attendance?

Jan 31 is a Saturday and has no time, yet.
The Horizon League schedule in terms of dates looks very odd or poorly done.

Jan 31 is a Saturday and has no time, yet. The Horizon League schedule in terms of dates looks very odd or poorly done. It's almost as if the H League decision-makers got together and said: "OK, what can we do to get the fewest number of Milwaukee fans to the UIC/Valpo games and vice versa?" Our game at Green Bay, our principal rival, is on a Thursday! It doesn't make any sense.
