"Anyway, the $160 million seems like a steep price for a union. I obviously don’t know all the facts of this proposed union but is an expenditure of this magnitude necessary for solely a union?"
The union needs a major upgrade. No doubt about it. It should be the focal center of campus.
I would guess that 10,000 people pass through the Union each day. I would guess that 10,000 students attend conference basketball games all year. Apples and oranges.

I would guess that 10,000 students attend conference basketball games all year. Apples and oranges. I’m not saying that the union doesn’t need a renovation and I’m not trying to understate the importance of the union. Although strong arguments could be made that the library, research facilities, classrooms and computer labs are just important or if not more important than a union. I understand that the union needs a renovation, but does it have to cost over $100 million, and in this scenario up to $160 million. The $160 million price tag for the union is the issue here, not the premise that the union needs a renovation. Just imagine if $50-60 of the $160 million price could be trimmed off in an efficient manner. That would be $50-60 that could be utilized to help get football off the ground. By starting a football program, it will enhance the profile and visibility of the university in order to attract potential donors to facilitate the university’s research initiatives. For example, the UT-San Antonio, which started its football program in 2011 has publicly cited a motivating factor to add football was easier access to research grants, attracting donors, adding faculty, as well as enhancing its university’s visibility in order to achieve Tier One status as a research university. UT-San Antonio Hopes New Football Team Will Raise Its Game In Quest for Tier One Status www.dallasnews.com/news/education/headlines/20101102-UT-San-Antonio-hopes-new-football-5710.eceAdding football is not just an athletic initiative, it’s a university wide initiative. This move is not about special interests, but about the interest to make this place more special. It’s about raising the profile and visibility of the university as well as being more attractive to donors through the vehicle of a new varsity football program.

I used trial and error to fix my uniforms. One thing I changed is something you should consider - the M logo is distorted on sleeves.

Damn... I don't have the actual game yet, so I had no idea. I just took the M off the sleeves and put the numbers there instead. I also had to tweak the road uniforms a bit since the game doesn't allow TV numbers to be a different color than the main numbers.

Remember when you made those helmets of all the HL teams? You should make those logos available to people who want to make their own teams.

I still prefer University of Milwaukee to Wisconsin State. We are far more akin to schools like Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Memphis, and Houston than we are to Illinois State, Missouri State, Indiana State, and Mankato. We definitely share more with the second set then the Ohio States and Michigan States of the world, but as far as a profile of the university is concerned, we're closer to the first set than the second.
