Go ahead flame away. I really have nothing to say but Jimmy should be fired for losing to 2 D-2 schools in back to back years. What a joke. Looks like YSU might be able to beat us this year. All I can say is thank GOD I was not there for this one!

Sure, but you may be required to dress up in women's lingerie to start. Initiation, ya know.

I've really hated UIC ever since you ruined my freshman year by rushing our floor in the Horizon League Championship, but I can't take any pleasure in kicking you when you are down. Really bad loss for you guys tonight, but hopefully you can pull it together. I always enjoyed a good rivalry with you guys, I'd hate to see you lumped with Youngstown. What exactly went wrong tonight?

this is amazing. Not that they lost, cuz if i was a betting man i probably would have taken st. joe's, but that they lost and that there are 5 post on our board and only 1 on theirs about this right now. i guess the 6 other people that post on their board went to the game and are on their way home or something.

Facists. ;D

I was not at the game, still in school. But stomper was there said it was a joke. The starters played like crap, only when the bench and Jeffers were in the game did we show any life. I guess we were up by as many as 14 in the first half. Jimmy put the starters back in and they gave it right back. He also said that we should have lost by a lot more, b/c we were given every call down the stretch. In no way would I ever join the devil, so you wont see me switching sides, but I will say that Jimmy needs to be kicked out of this league. You will never see me mention him for Coach of the year ever again. I think this program is headed where you guys were when you broke in, looks like many losing seasons ahead. Are bitter rivalry looks to be completely over, but who knows. St. Joseph's 74, UIC 73 (St. Joe's in Indiana .. D2 ... not the one in Philly) Ouch.... what happened? I love how UIC thinks WE'RE the devil? Seriously...
KEEP IT UP JIMMY! No sympathy from this devil.

There could be a fair trade here...Flames fans become Panther fans, and Packer fans become Bears fans? I still doubt it will happen from either side though.
Worse than just being a bad loss, it basically makes ruin of your entire season. Optimism is down, but at least the motto of having everything to gain and nothing to lose is still going to be popular.

This sucks for our league. I for one, want to see UIC be a consistent rival, and a team that is also "on the radar". Winning the league means very little if the HL is consistently rated as the 19th or 20th conference. Mid-major conference? Hardly anyone (nationally) believes that anymore.

totally agree lou. i take very little pleasure in this loss. we need the league as a whole to make noise in the non-conference schedule this year. as much as it pains me at times to route for other HL foes, it's necessary for the league to gain some sort of respect. thankfully UIC's loss doesn't count on the schedule, but people won't forget it either...

I dont think this would have happened in the regular season. If we, thank god this didnt and hopefully will never happen, lost in a preseason game its not the end of the world. it can serve as a wake up call to the team. also with the crazy substitution patterns, the extended 3 point line, and the ref's getting into the swing of things, you can say that the preseaon is a time to play with things and thye dont count against you. im not saying it should ever happen, but at least it doesnt count against anyone officially. Hopefully we can have some teams step up this year so the Horizon doesnt fall in to the low major confrence category. But if this had to happen to any team i geuss i would choose UIC or UWGB, cuz they both deserve it.
