I don't really think you can call it bandwagon jumping when it's an exhibition game... these are your new diehards. Welcome them! Agreed! I don't want to be a jerk here, but for anyone who is annoyed at the new students (fans) I have only this advice: SHUT UP! We need those fans, we need them to be rowdy, we need them to come and NOT know all the details. We need them to feel welcome and part of "the family". There is no need for anyone to be made to feel unwelcome, so climb off of your high horses and make an effort to educate and welcome new fans. Ok, no more lecturing...on to the game: 1. Jeter was definitely pissed at Zach Holt for jacking up 3's at the end. I thought it was hilarious. 2. I LOVED seeing the press, and thought that it looked pretty good. 3. There were a number of times last night when I saw us pass up shots that we would have taken last year. We are definitely going to run a more disciplined half court offense this year. 4. Adrian Tigert looked REAL good. I was very impressed with his ability around the basket 5. This is the most athletic team we have ever had. 6. Nice to see us referred to as "Milwaukee". I hope the media picks up on it. 7. I always yell "noise!" Overall, I think the big picture looks real good. Attendance was great, the atmosphere was great, and the team looks solid, if not yet spectacular.

Attendance was great, the atmosphere was great, and the team looks solid, if not yet spectacular. Wow...my comment and observation sure did get taken the wrong way...First of all, I said I meant in no way that they shouldn't be there; I am glad we are growing a bigger fan base...Second of all, I'm not on a high horse, my problem with it was that when I tried to educate them, they argued the fact with me. That was what was irritating. I by no means mind loud and rowdy, in fact I am one of the loudest there most times, I just would never yell out something I don't know for sure. I don't want anyone to feel unwelcome. I was new once too, but I would never yell out the wrong names, I still cheered, and loudly mind you, I just only yelled out things I knew were correct. I totally apologize for making it seem as if I didn't want any of those fans there. Also, as a side note, I too was TERRIBLY annoyed by the "hey" "noise" thing...in my opinion, that is a cheerleading SQUAD, where they should be working together, not one cheerleader out trying to get all of the guys attention!
