I think it is interesting that we play GB two times before we play some teams once (Detroit, WSU, YSU). It is also interesting that we play UD the final game (could be for all the marbles).
Per the desk of the SID, dated 7/26/05
Nov. 2 - Parkside (EX) Nov. 8 - Platteville (EX) Nov. 15 - @ Memphis (Preseason NIT) Nov. 17 - @ NIT (if advance) Nov. 23 - @ NIT (if advance) Nov. 25 - @ NIT (if advance) Nov. 28 - @ Tennessee Tech Dec. 3 - Saint Louis Dec. 6 - @ South Dakota Sate Dec. 10 - Hawaii Dec. 15 - @ Wisconsin Dec. 18 - UWGB Dec. 27 - @ Wyoming Dec. 30 - @ Montana Jan 2 - CSU Jan 5 - @uic Jan 7 - Butler Jan 11 - Loyola Jan 14 - @ UWGB Jan 18 - @ UD Jan 21 - WSU Jan 26 - @ysu Jan 30 - @ Loyola Feb 2 - @wsu Feb 4 - @ Butler Feb 9 - YSU Feb 11 - @csu Feb 18 - ESPN Bracketbuster (at home) Feb 21 - Detroit
* Currently two games missing * UW Parkside exhibition/YSU game Feb 9 both part of doubleheaders with the women

couple things come to mind here: 1. AT TENNESSEE TECH?! I really hope someone from their coaching staff saved a drowning child on our coaching staff b/c that's bullsh*t we'd have to play there, just at like @ SDSU. 2. I don't like 5 of our last 8 games our on the road. 3. 2/21 could definitely be one of, if not the biggest game of the season. Thank god its at home.

Hey as far as I'm concerned it is a step up from Prairie View A&M. Tennessee Tech was 15-11 last year with an RPI of 162. On the other hand why are you so shocked, this game is most likely a buy game and UWM won't be turning down a good pay day anytime soon.
If the rumors are true, I would hope that UWM would try to get an away game for the Bracket Buster. I think it makes more sense with the likes of St. Louis and Hawai'i (maybe Northwestern, Creighton and W. Michigan) being at home this year. If UWM is going to have a home and home with any of these 3 non-confirmed, it makes more sense to have a return game from a top mid-major program next year.

I think the Creighton and W. Michigan rumors can be laid to rest. Two more games left to schedule? Hopefully we can get at least one more at Home. Cant wait to get this season started. 2/21...mark it down!

Where do you guys see UIC going to UWM? Are you sure the Detroit game is the last game of the season?
Looks like maybe a December show down, before Christmas. Or possible at the end of the season in Feb. Looks like you guys have a tough road in the last month of the year, but most of those games should be one with maybe the exception of UDM, and LU.

besides connections w/ UW students how does one go about getting tickets for the UW/UWM game since single game tickets will probably be sold out b4 they're available.

just go and try and scalp tickets...UW doesnt really care about UWM, it isnt a rivalry...last year there were more people selling tickets than buying...it was pretty evident to look in the third deck and see empty seats...so u can get em below face value
