Sorry, Hack and pnthr30, but we cannot grant dunk status to the Pancratz-Boo alley-oop. I promise that for next year, we will have a written set of rules. But the chicken signs will be back tomorrow. And we're already planning to make it bigger and better next year!

I have just one big comment to the student section.
Although being only a freshman, i have been at almost every home game this year. Although I was pleased with the turnout of the sat. game. I hope we sell out and break the attendence record. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about the 1st 6 rows with all the girls just standing there and talking to each other. Yes there are some girls who are watching and cheering but for the most point the girls have no clue what is going on. I mean there are TRUE die heart fan that wanna be closer to the floor. But anyways the turnout was great
Anyone going somewhere before the game?? what time do the doors open for thuesday's game?

Yes, we seem to have our very own version of the front row hoes. Their only goal is to be on tv. Annoying since they push their way through the crowd expecting us to part the gold sea for them.

If you thought the bandwagon fans were annoying on Saturday, just wait until Tuesday with the game being on ESPN. The student section will be absolutely massive with everyone wanting to be in the first few rows.
It will however look great on national TV.
If you want good seats, you better plan on getting there 2 hours early.
Later, UWMfreak

FYI- We cannot do our own promos at HL tourney games, which is why there was no chicken launch at the game on sat or at the women's game last thursday.

do be carefull with bandwagon fans. even though they do not know anything about the team, or college basketball in general, its our job to get them to want to come back to more games. even if they have their back to the game and are flirting. try and keep your cool. not that anyone has done that, its just that sometimes i really just wanna biotch a stupid girl out. but i restrain myself.

Well, not "technically", but trust me, the chicken signs will be in the house. Students, look to your left (directly across from the Panther bench) for chicken related excitement!!!

(probably a long shot ) but who knows maybe those girls will bring a guy with them, and he will get into the game and he will bring back more friends. which will increase the student sec #'s. I know this far fetched kinda like the eat a snickers and become president idea ;D. another thing, SEC 106, great job with the chicken signs! glad we got em' going! helps me count when im too drunk!

Of course that means you are also probably seeing double. If you see 10 chicken signs you know we've got it or at least pretty close.

although i have to say i was that band wagon fan last year cause i only went to the two espn games but none of my friends at the dorms wanted to go. And to speak of the "front row hoes" from saturday... They barged in right in front of me... I was in the front row for the entire GB v UDM game and i was bumped back to the third row because some "bandwagon" fans came in and just cut in front. I agree that they are important and all but they dont get involved with the cheers and they are just interested in getting on tv. i believe we should get there very early so that we can be the first few rows so that WE get the crowd going... If we start cheers in the front they will continue to the back. Unfortunately i cannot go to Goolsbys with y'all on tuesday night seeing as how im only 20 but i will be inline at the cell hopefully around 5-5:30... i will see you all at the game and at center court Brett

You CAN get into Goolsby's before the game, you don't have to be 21 to get in there, only to order drinks. So show up if you've got time, it's an awesome pregame! And boy those girls WERE annoying, after they cut in front, they called their friends on the phone!!! and had them come down to the front rows to join them! I was the guy in the white baseball cap in the front row they were jumping all over (literally) in the second half. I just wanted to wind up and B*tch slap all of 'em! Then I realized I didn't mind their breasts all over me, even if they were yelling Mark Pancratz's name. ;D -Jason

I think that next year they should assign seating for the espn televised and the tournament games. You should have to get them ahead of time however you would have to have three stubs for previous games before you can sign up for a seat in the front. Maybe this would keep the die hards up front. Just a thought, Its nice to see the bandwagoners because we look better on national TV. It just sucks for those who have gone a lot this year to end up behind someone who doesnt even know the players names.
And on the classless part, Maybe we are a little classless, but its not over the top, Its controlled and it may be that little bit of classelessness that gets in the heads of opposing players. Martel Bailey certainly knew we were there last year, he even admitted it when interviewed. I wouldnt change a thing.
