BBC or Harrys to watch the game Thursday? I personally think Harry's might be best. They have given us great support for post game parties and the Bruce Pearl radio show. Plus, under age fans can at least get into Harry's, whereas they will be left out of BBCs.
Plus, with the BBC we're going to have to put up with the anti-uwm crowd, which is made up of a large portion of UWM students. Amazing how that works.
Harry's is a bit more expensive than BBC for drinks/food.

I would say Harry's. But I will have to miss the gathering. I will be in Indy at the Barn (aka Hinkle) for the game.

After discussing where to watch the game last night at the BP show, all agreed to have it at Harry's.
I'll be there Thursday around 5:00-5:30.

great, we have figured out where to watch the game, now we should discuss what we are gonna have to do to win the game. Last year butler kicked our asses at hinkle (75-58) or something like that. we need to not have that again. i wouldn't be suprised if butler ran some zone on us, since it was so effective in the game against detroit. if ed is on, this wont last long....unless joah doesnt right himself. i personally think joah will bounce back. since ed has started gettin hot joah has slowed down, but after detroit i would think that bruce would try to light a fire under his ass. Bruce says joah is a "Bad Boy" and i would think bad boys dont like gettin embarassed.
my 2 things that can happen thursday:
1. Same old - 1 man on, everyone else off, remains close til the end....who know the final result if this happens. Depends on if their guards shoot like detroit's
2. Ed continues on a roll (25+), Joah Wakes up(15+), everone else does their usual thing. We win easily and get some confidence back.
then there are the wild cards - Dford, Free Throws i would like to see dford stop dicking around and play like he has some nads....free throws, well, lets hope james doesnt get alot of these.
thats what i think. we'll just have to wait til tomorrow.

Hey, homeboy! It will be option 2: Ed continues on a roll, Joah wakes up and the rest of the team does it's usual thing (which probably means something unusual like Chris getting 18 or Boo scoring 22). After last year's embarassment, I think we'll win easily. By the way, the only way to get James to stop missing free throws is to get him off the court in late-game situations. After all, why would the opponent not foul a 27-percent FT shooter?

By the way, if you think for a minute that James is 6-7, 230, I've got some swampland in Florida to sell you. There was a time when the 6-4 Wright could play like he was 6-8 or 6-9. That time has passed.

I think there are two keys to this game that have pretty much been left untouched.
1. Keep Chris Hill in the game. Boo Davis can't run the point, he plays with too much of in "individual" flavor.
2. Derrick Ford needs to stop letting everyone else on the court push him around. HE NEEDS TO PLAY HIS SIZE!! No one is going to ask James Wright to shoot free throws at the end of the game, just as no coach would ask ANY big man to be the guy on the line.
Hopefully they come to play at Hinkle, as it has always been a tough place to get a road win. Good luck Panthers.

I agree, I think that when Chris is at the point, we are a better team. I am not saying I don't think there are minutes for Boo, I just don't think those minutes are well served with him at the point. When Chris plays well, things go much more smoothly. Sometimes I think that we take his steady play for granted because he is typically not a "take over the game" type player - yet IMHO is a critical piece to the puzzle.

I think the Panther's perimeter defense (or lack of it) will be the difference at Butler. I hope they challenge the 3's and get in passing lanes out top - visions of C Tuck and Ronnie harassing Brandon Miller and Darnell Archey in the HL title game two years back ;D
For whatever reason I have zero confidence when the Panthers play Butler, especially on the road. To me BU is the wildcard in the HL. They are young, can get hot shooting 3s, and make foul shots.
Good Luck Panthers. Play Big D.
