Lundy has a proven track record of success. I'm not willing to give up on him. I will however say this. I hope our players study hard and get their degrees, because I didn't see anyone who would make it to a pro team, even a minor league pro team in a small country. It depends on who really wants to play. I don't think Ricky Franklin played any form of pro ball after he left, but Tiby & Austin Arians both played for a while in Europe. There are quite a lot of different levels of pro leagues in Spain, Italy, France, Greece. I was referring to the players I saw on the floor last night, not players from the past or those who are out with injury.

This was my first game of the season. When the schedule came out, I was disappointed that I am going to miss some games due to a cruise I'm taking. After seeing tonight's debacle, that disappointment is replaced by relief that I won't feel obligated to go those games because I'm in town and bought season tickets.
I'm not an expert but my takes
1) Good luck getting people back to the seats after you lose to a team no one ever heard of before especially when the next home game is three days before Christmas.
2) Some people showed effort but others did not. If the team is going to turn things around everyone putting on that uniform has to care enough to defend every drive (not step aside and let the guy score), to rush to the basket for rebounds, not stand there and hope someone gets it, help out team mates who are doubled up instead of watching the ball get stripped away and to improve shot selection.
3) I did see a lot of passing the ball. That part was good in as much as it indicates some measure of unselfish play but I also saw guys driving into the teeth of Longwood's defense and trying to put up a shot that was clearly going to be blocked.
4) It didn't seem like we had a coordinated defense.
5) Playing frantically at the end just so you don't lose by 20 is not going to cut it.

Did anyone alert the Gasthaus? They generally seem indifferent to Panther sports... Or did that change recently? I stopped by the Gasthaus on Monday and I was truly appalled. The wooden booths, wood floor and the wood bar are all gone. So is the atmosphere. It's all been replaced by a plastic bar, laminated flooring, and bright neon lights. In fact, the entire Union looks like "an IKEA showroom" to use my husband's words. He went onto say "Except an IKEA showroom has more atmosphere than this place." I was President of the Student Union for two years and remember its opening. It was supposed to be a comfortable, homey place for students. It had atmosphere. All that's been replaced by someone's idea to make it into a contemporary piece of art. The glare in some parts is so bright that it literally hurts your eyes. It's so bad that when got off the elevator on the second floor every fiber of my gay fashion sense wanted to scream. My husband couldn't stop laughing. You have to see what they did there to believe it.

I bought two season tickets for this year's season. I did receive an email acknowledging the purchase. There is a link in the email to "manage tickets" which takes me to Ticketmaster. However, I can NOT access the tickets using the Ticketmaster app on my phone. Also I can't access the tickets going to the Ticketmaster site through a browser. I can access other tickets I buy through my Ticketmaster app. I can access my Badger Football Season tickets through the Badger app or through Google Wallet (they automatically load on my phone). I can put load tickets on Google Wallet app but unlike my Badger tickets all of them have to be loaded individually and all of them will appear at once rather than just the next game. Plus there's a warning that they can't be used by another google account, which may make transferring them impossible once I've loaded them. (I can transfer or sell my Badger tickets anytime even after loading them onto my phone.) So basically the only way I can access the game tickets is to search through my emails for every game, a process that will become more difficult as the season goes on. Does anyone know if the Athletic Department can send out a mobile link to tickets for each game as the games come around? All of your Milwaukee Panthers tickets, including men's basketball season tickets and single game tickets for games on campus, are managed through Account Manager at am.ticketmaster.com/uwm. The only Panther tickets that will be on TicketMaster.com or the TicketMaster app are single game tickets for games at UWM Panther Arena. Your login is likely the same for both, but the tickets are in separate locations. While Account Manager doesn't have an app, you can log in to am.ticketmaster.com/uwm through any mobile browser and manage your tickets, including saving them to your mobile wallet and transferring them. If you run into any issues with this, please let us know and we'll work through it. The Badgers use a different platform from TicketMaster, so managing your Badger Football tickets will look a little different, even if the steps to manage them are virtually the same. If you add the tickets to your Google Wallet and then transfer them, it will either remove the tickets from you wallet entirely or the tickets in your wallet just won't work anymore. I have an iPhone, so not 100% on what happens, but downloading mobile tickets won't prevent you from transferring. Thanks for posting this, as it allowed me to clarify some questions other people have had as well. Hopefully this information helps! Thanks. That worked.

I already tried that. It didn't work. As I said I can only access my tickets through the email they sent me.

I'd like to see us play UIC and/or Loyola. They are former rivals that drew a lot of interest from the fans, especially UIC. The coaches, teams and fan bases really didn't like each other.

I would like to see us play UIC again. Those were fun games in an intense rivalry and drew crowds. Loyola would look great on the schedule too.

I would think his players want to keep playing. Do not be surprised to see some of them in the portal

Thank You to the Coaching staff and the players. You restored real interest in Panther Basketball to me and a ton of others. I know people who went to their first game(s) in years and loved it. It's hard to turn around a program like ours, but you showed the entire city, that it's possible. You can be sure that your fans will do their best to keep building the renewed interest in the only college team with the name "Milwaukee" on its jerseys. We'll keep talking up the team in the off season just as much as we did during the season. We will continue to get our friends, family and co-workers interested in cheering you on when you take the court. Thanks for the thrills, the incredible plays, the excitement and the great times you provided. Let's build on this year together.

I'd like to go but I am not going to drive there. I'm willing to share expenses with someone who will drive or to take a bus if there is one.

The Bart Lundy hire got me to buy season tickets for the first time in 11 years. What I saw on court has gotten me to look forward to buying them again. This year was amazing, a total turn around from what I'd seen in the few games I attended over the last few years. I took my 40 year old Developmentally Disabled nephew to the UPFW game. He had so much fun he wanted to come to last night's contest. In the middle of the action he asked me if I could get him a UWM Hat and Sweatshirt for Christmas. So I'm thinking I may be buying 3 season tickets for next year instead of two.
