After losing a pair of games two weekends ago without leading scorer and rebounder Ryan Childress, Moeller on Friday rebounded to trounce Roger Bacon 69-44 behind a balanced attack. Without Childress, who is averaging 16.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, Moeller fell to third-ranked St. Xavier and Akron St. Vincent/St. Mary's. Childress played the first half against Roger Bacon and had 12 points and four rebounds.

On Friday, Ryan Childress had 18 points and 11 rebounds as fourth-ranked Cincinnati Moeller overwhelmed Elder 72-38. Moeller improved to 14-2 with a big date against Dayton Chaminade-Julienne looming on Wednesday.
