I'm peeved that they practically waited until the 11th hour to make this decision when EVERYONE knew this was coming for at least the last 36 hours

I'm peeved that they practically waited until the 11th hour to make this decision when EVERYONE knew this was coming for at least the last 36 hours Yeah, i don’t have an issue with changing the game time if it’s safer (I’m not convinced it is here, either, but that’s not the point. I’m mad they gave us 20 hours of lead time and waited until after the workday the day before was over. And I’m mad they’re not offering refunds or (publicly) offering anything else to season ticket holders who are out of luck with this.

This is why I moved to California. I hate the snow. But seriously, they shouldn’t have moved the game time at all. It’s going to create more headaches than what it would cure. Team buses are just fine in snow and wind. Someone f***ed uo making something out of nothing. Yeah if people didnt feel comfortable driving in the snow dont go. I drove through a blower of a storm on my way to the UP last winter and had 0 issues. 3 to 7 inches and we cancel everything. Shoulda just moved the tip to 5pm instead of 2pm if they really wanted to cure something, 2pm just means if there is rush hour traffic youll be sending all 100 people at the game home in that. Slap in the face to season ticket holders. CSU likely is staying in Milwaukee tomorrow night anyway so it makes no sense on every single level. Id really like to know who made the final call on this but we wont ever get that answer. I'm coming down from the UP tomorrow, evidently to no game to watch, because they waited so long to make this decision that I can now not cancel my hotel reservation. I guess I will be celebrating my birthday early visting all my favorite bars instead. Beer doesn't stop for snow, and neither does a Yooper.

Maybe time to eliminate a few of the positions in the AD if they can't do their jobs. Just goes to show they don't really care about the fan base. Half the season ticket holders are likely employees of the university anyway so they are just probably stoked they got their friday night freed up. For the actual season ticket holders its just a slap in the face. I was offered to upgrade my seats, and some lines about added benefits to the fan experience. I know people in the AD read this, the fan experience is worse this year then ever. Still no numbers on the scoreboards, still very few if any replays on the giant jumbotron. The same lame stats as always on the side scoreboards. Still half the vendors not open for games and literally no courtside club benefits this year. EVERYTHING has taken a step back this season and its inexcusable.

Exactly, I made it to the UP last year in an absolute blower with 0 issues. Imagine moving the game for 3 to 7 inches of snow, yall would never leave the crib in the winter. If you live in western UP and shred the gnar gnar SOB lets get some powder laps in later this winter.

Didnt shut me down from driving from Franklin to my buddies apartment in my 1999 lumina to get drunk as f*** after delivering pizza all night.

Really inexplicable decision honestly. There isn't any realistic rationale for doing this. All time stupid decision for the program.

Dont see the value in buying my seats when i can get the 90 dollar upper deckers and just go to my same seats next year, no ones buying those seats based on how this team looks right now.

Closed down The Harp that night and walked home. Lol

This is exactly what I meant before about a dysfunctional AD.
An actual properly-functioning AD, knowing this far ahead how big the storm is going to be, would have had some contingency, some kind of actual PLANNING for what alternatives, and give everyone fair warning, like "the tip off time may be changed due to the coming weather".
This speaks more of a program and/or athletic department that still doesn't know its right hand from its left

The same lame stats as always on the side scoreboards. Still half the vendors not open for games and literally no courtside club benefits this year. EVERYTHING has taken a step back this season and its inexcusable. Well, I’m glad they’re at least offering you a chance to upgrade your seats as well. That’s a slightly better option than exchanging the ticket for a game that we’re already attending. I don’t like the idea that I’m only being offered that because I’m being publicly harsh about my feelings about the timing of the announcement. I think there are some things we need to be patient with the athletic department on. We just lost Adam and Julius last year, and those are big shoes to fill. I felt like having those two was the best we’ve had in years, and it will take some time for the new guys to be at that level. From my experience, Joe has been responsive. Having said that, I’m pretty sure the person/people who made this decision are a bit higher up, have been here for a while, and should know better than to give the (sadly dwindling) loyal fans literally no time to rearrange a work schedule. And that’s a concern.
