Doubt it big fail by the ad. Egg on their face but they lack any self awareness it seems. Roads will be fine all night it’s almost like we have entire departments of workers to clear roadways in Milwaukee. Wussification of society. I drove home to the north after the game and the interstate was in horrible shape the whole way. I am thanking my lucky stars to be home safely. I saw 5 or 6 cars that did NOT. Sure, around the arena looked fine sure, but this turned out to be the right call 100%. And if you don't think so you weren't on the roads. 12-17 inches west of downtown. I cannot imagine leaving at 9:15 pm tonight if I was a fan or closer to 10 pm for me. Complain all you'd like, it's lost on me. Just drove home at 1030, roads were fine pretty much everywhere if you drove slow. This is wisconsin, then again driving in the snow is a skill not everyone has i suppose. The biggest fail was not letting people know wednesday night that the game could be moved to 2pm today. Damn dude, maybe have some grace for the fans that got f***ed outta like 20 bucks a ticket with almost no notice. Once more it was only the right call for the university employees. Biggest issue is WE energies shameful lack of preventative maintenance causing widespread power outages. The roads are no worse now then they were at 430. Id know cause I was out at both times, AND I was out to the west where the snow totals were much much higher. 4.7 inches so far in milwaukee.....theres grass showing b. This program never communicates well with its fanbase and this is just another example of that. Disagree all you want, but rubbing the very few loyal fans faces in the slush is a bad look.

50K without power. Including my Dad in Hartland. Edit. We Energies things, we had a tree branch literally pressing on a power line a few years back and they wouldnt come remove it until it predictably knocked out power for like 1000 homes. They literally will not do any preventative work.

Fun game. All 150 of us tried to be as loud as we could. Glad I made the trek downtown. "Official" attendance: 1,431 Id love to know the actual turnstyle numbers. Not that the program will ever be transparent. Shoulda just played this one at the KCenter and saved us some more loot and maybe got a few students in the joint

About the game, Wilson has been a revelation on the glass, this team will go as he goes it seems. Need him to continue hitting the glass hard. Duffy had another solid game on D. EJ was good today but hope he doesnt find the fools gold of taking more 3s now. EJ and KP need to be in attack mode to the rim and only taking catch and shoot spot up 3s. Id imagine the advanced stats show this out neither is a good shooter off the bounce but that can make 3s off good catch and shoot chances. BJ needs to take care of and value the ball more. If hes hurt he needs to sit and recover because these games are still almost meaningless as we can beat most of the HL teams without him at this point. Pratt isnt quite a PG but since hes become a more willing passer hes been our best player. The two local kids provide a spark and do just enough on the court to be hopeful for their future here. Cant wait to see how Franklin could fit into it all when hes back hopefully later this season. If he can slot into a mid major Jae Crowder type role it would be immense for us. Nice win vs a solid team that seemed to lose their marbles in the 2nd half.

I'll just stop now. You seem like a guy that always needs the last word and is always right. Kudos. I am sure all the cars I saw in the ditch just don't have your driving skills. But I do appreciate your game post above ... spot on and in-depth.
Thanks to the fans that made it, however. I appreciate you.

Thanks to those who couldnt f*** off their jobs and had to work and deal with the snow? Once more another tone deaf post from a university employee is such a bad look dude. What stopped the university from letting fans know this was a possible outcome earlier in the week when literally every other person I know's jobs all made contingency plans for the weather on like monday morning? Giant local companies with much much more to lose from this weather event all could be like ya know what lets communicate with our people in a responsible fashion. Youre in the thunderdome my man welcome. It might be cold out there but my takes are always hot here.

With the team on a roll (5-1 since winter officially began), these next two games, both very winnable, could be big for us to bring bigger crowds for the next homestand, which will be during the 2-week Super Bowl break. A change to hammer Detroit again, and get some revenge on Oakland. A team on a winning stretch is going to draw some good attention.
If we take these next two games against NKU & Wright State, I see a great opportunity for us to regain the lost interest in this team.
If this team continues to play, and win, as well as they're doing right now, I don't see how we can't get 5,000+ for the Green Bay game.

How about we put everything we have and all our resources into getting just 3,000 bodies in the seats? After all, you've gotta walk before you can run.

NKU has struggled since losing Vinson for the season and Wright State is a team we know we can beat. Win those 2 and there’s a whole world of possibilities that opens up in terms of attendance during the next home stand.

There is no dominant team in the HL, Milwaukee included. Every game is up for grabs except those involving IUPUI and UDM. Sweeping at both NKU and WSU would be fantastic. These are winnable games for the opponents as well. I would take a split. We'll be fine regardless, as it comes down to how we do in March anyway.

Every game except for one or two per week is such a crapshoot this season. It truly is an eight-horse race!

Cleveland State went into the final five minutes of both games this weekend up. That's why we play a full forty, folks!

The Milwaukee-Green Bay road trip is once again murderous for Horizon League foes! Coaching is everything in D-1 basketball!
