The rest of the Horizon League is SHAKING in their boots right now. They don't want to see us.

Seems much likelier that a guy like Franklin starts at the 4 and let’s fields/Wilson split the minutes at the 5.

I agree. I expect these 9 guys to be in the 10-man rotation:
G - Elijah Jamison, Markeith Browning, Kentrell Pullian, Pierce Spencer, Erik Pratt F - BJ Freeman, Aaron Franklin, Faizon Fields, Langston Wilson
I'll be curious to see who else among the remaining players are able to earn meaningful minutes in the rotation.

I think those 9. I would bet Learic would be the 10th to get meaningful minutes. I could see us playing 3 athletic 6’6” ish wings on the floor at one time for periods in a game. Maybe Duffy comes off the bench too for some rebounding , hard defense against big teams.

I’d guess Wilson, Fields, and Davis will cover the 5 in the rotation with Wilson also getting plenty of minutes at the 4. I’m pretty sure Davis will be a key part of the rotation.
I suppose it will all work itself out, though.

Obvious formula for success: let Spencer/Davis play together for long stretches and "Keep on Running."

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Learic Davis wasn’t amongst the 9 players JG Panther put in his 10 man rotation. I think Learic will definitely be in the 10 man rotation, and is too good to sit at #10. I think he will see plenty of minutes.

Some of you have the wrong idea of the kind of player Davis is IMO. Talk of him playing Center??? Like just cuz he's 6'7 and a freak athlete does not mean big man. He's a SG/SF, total perimeter guy. That's not meant as a diss to him, but he is just not a big in any sense. Think back along the lines of this guy if he really develops. We'll see Markeith/Franklin/BJ playing the 5 long before we see Learic there, at least at this point in time.
Honestly, I don't know how anyone could be remotely sure of the rotation at all. It could be the same starters as last year with a new big at the 5, or we might only start BJ and one other guy from last year and everyone else is new. It's impossible to tell right now. Think it's also possible a guy or two from last year becomes odd man out if the minutes aren't there in the same way. Either way the uncertainty is EXCITING because if there is a potential "problem" with the roster it's likely a talent glut at a position and there not being enough minutes to go around. That's not a problem worth worrying about.
I also agree with whoever said we aren't starting Fields/Wilson together. No chance. Those dudes are splitting mins and we are putting a smaller guy like Franklin/Markeith/BJ at the 4.
