Don’t think that should cause any issues considering it will likely be a home game for Marquette in either scenario

In that sense yes. But essentially they’d be playing two home games with a home court advantage even at our arena. I don’t see what’s so difficult to say yes to. One game’s worth of revenue is going to be THAT damaging to a university who charges as much as Marquette charges their students?

They won the NCAA tournament 46 years ago and made the Final Four 20 years ago. They can't be bothered with the peasants.

Ask any of them and they’ll tell you they remember that run like it was just last year!

Lol maybe we should wait until there's a non-conference schedule before moaning about the direction of the program due to its non-conference schedule. Direct quote from Lundy from the schedule announcement last fall: "As our tenure goes along, we will make sure we increase the difficulty." Still waiting...

As of this moment, it certainly appears as though our '23-24 schedule is an improvement over last year, but that's an admittedly low bar. I'd love to see it continue to improve.

Southern Miss 25-8 (Sun Belt) and Longwood (Big South)20-12 are two pretty good additions to the home schedule. Both seem to be home/home series.
Guarantee games seem rough to come by. About 70 schools said, no thank you.
Couple of non D1's for home games is the norm for most mid majors. I just hope to play actually team. Not some sh*t bag like Cardinal Strich.
