Lundy can’t recruit bigs and we’re going to win 5 games this year. Still two more wins than Green Bay! Lol. 22-25 win season or bust Before we start predicting win totals, let's get a look at the schedule. It's impossible to project off 23 opponents.

Honestly he probably starts for us. He played a decent role on a pretty good ODU team last year in the Sun Belt which is a solid conference. I imagine our up tempo style of play and having literally no other big men on the roster to split minutes with was pretty appealing to him.
Great signing though. Brings legit size to the frontline, should fit with our play style, AND he has more than 1 year of eligibility.

They decided to set the bar high in year one of Lundy's tenure. Less than 22 would surely be a step back, even if 3 were against non-DI opponents. If this is truly a postseason team and a potential NCAA tournament team, and I believe it is, then that isn't too lofty in terms of expectations.

So as of this moment, what are you guys thinking in terms of a lineup and rotation? Something like Jamison, Browning, Fields, Freeman and Franklin with Pullian, Pratt, Spencer, Davis, Duffy, Riek and Stuart off the bench?

UWM completes its recruiting class with high-flying Washington transfer Langston Wilson Todd Rosiak Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Langston Wilson, who has announced he is tranferring to UWM as a graduate student with one season of eligibility, played in 28 games and started two last season, his second at Washington. Athletically, there haven't been many players over the years at UW-Milwaukee who could match Ahmad Rand.
But on Monday they completed their 2023-2024 recruiting class with one who might be even springier than the Panthers' former high-flying dunker.
Enter Langston Wilson, a 6-foot-9 graduate transfer who has announced his intention to play at UWM next season. He arrives after spending the past two years as a reserve forward at the University of Washington.
"I know Ahmad well. I’d say that’s very accurate," Wilson said when asked if he could match Rand's athletic exploits on the basketball court. "Personally, I think I jump higher than Ahmad. That’s just me. That’s just how I feel about it."
While he might not possess the shot-blocking ability of Rand, might Wilson finish his lone season with the Panthers with more dunks than Rand's total of 69?
"I don’t speak on anything," he said with a laugh. "I’m going to just put it into action. Actions speak louder than words."
Wilson, from Upper Darby, Paennsylvania, was considered one of the top handful of junior-college players after spending his first two seasons at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia.
It was there he met and became teammates with Dominic Ham, a walk-on at UWM.
Wilson signed with Washington but quickly fell victim to the numbers game with the Huskies having several NBA-caliber players ahead of him on the depth chart.
In two seasons (46 games), Wilson averaged 2.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game. He played 28 games this past season and started two.
"I would say it was a huge learning experience and it could never be disappointing," Wilson said of his time at Washington. "I learned a lot and was able to see myself in so many different scenarios and spaces.
"All in all, I characterize it as a win. Everybody kind of looks at things as far as statistics but honestly, I view it as a win simply for the fact that I was able to learn and be better."
Wilson, who graduates in 2½ weeks with a degree in American ethnic studies, has one year of eligibility remaining and had a host of schools seeking his services.
But after visiting Milwaukee a couple of weeks ago, Wilson believed he'd found the best fit for him (and the weather was also nice).
"Really, the main thing for me was my relationship with the coaches and their vision for me as style of play," he said. "They have a vision for where I can play and how I can produce and at the same time I feel like when I went there and visited the city, I connected with my teammates.
"It was just a huge thing for me. I really felt at home. Then having Dom Ham there, being able to see him and to have the chance to reconnect with him was something I really couldn’t pass up."
Wilson will be the seventh player to join the UWM roster since the end of the season once his signing becomes official. NCAA rules prohibit coach Bart Lundy from commenting on his newest player until then.
"My last two years at Washington I really wasn’t able to show my versatility," Wilson said. "But I’m a guy, with my size and athleticism that can play multiple positions. I can slide over and play the 4 and some 3 as well, but I’m more of a perimeter skill guy.
"So, being able to showcase that along with my offensive rebounding capability, it puts us in the mix for a very special year."
The addition of Wilson might well be what puts UWM over the top in the eyes of the pre-season prognosticators, and it wouldn't be a surprise at all to see the Panthers become the favorite to win the Horizon League next year.
To say it would be an incredible leap in Lundy's second year on the sideline would be an understatement.
"Honestly, I don’t really believe in putting expectations or that type of stuff on anybody," Wilson said. "I feel like at the end of the day in order to go into a situation and win, you get together with your coaches and teammates and as long as you’re on the same page, winning comes with that.
"When you let peoples’ expectations and outside noise distract you, that’s when things get misconstrued and people start getting different agendas."
But Wilson also said this: "It’s very possible that things could finish with the end-all, be-all of us being in the NCAA Tournament and then after that me possibly being in a position to play (professionally)."
Wilson's father, Ron, played 73 games at Villanova from 1991-1995, and remains a trusted confidant for Langston.
"My dad is really hands-on but at the same time hands-off, if that makes sense," he said. "He really kind of lets me navigate and explore the space and be myself, but is always there to give me guidance and is a phone call away."

Sounds to me like we should expect Wilson to start at the 5.
