I think four of our returning players from last year have a strong case to make the starting lineup this year. It's going to be interesting. There's so many unknowns right now. How good are Spencer, Franklin, and Pratt? I'm going to assume the freshman incoming are more developmental projects and aren't ready for more than spot mins now, but I could be wrong and Riek or Murchison is an instant rotation or impact player. Lots of starting lineup variability potentially. One thing I could see is Spencer getting the starting job at PG since he seems to be more of a true PG than Eli. But I do think this will be a deep team.

I don't think Spencer is so much a point guard as much as a good ball handler who doesn't turn it over much.

So he goes in to the transfer portal two days ago and Lundy shows interest? No big wants any part of this offense! Go small go hard and pray BJ lives up to the hype because what im hearing he wont surprise anyone next year.

What does the amount of time someone is in the portal have to do with anything? And what is your point about BJ? That the whole league knows he’s good? No kidding!

… because what im hearing he wont surprise anyone next year. You mean an all-league second team player who had the 5th highest scoring average in the league and was Milwaukee’s best scorer and rebounder will be a focal point for opponents next season? I guess anything is possible nowadays.

All im saying guys is that im hoping this year was not "just a one hit wonder" There's definitely work left to do regarding roster construction, and we were one of the luckiest teams in D1 in 2022 according to both BartTorvik and KenPom's ratings, so you're not wrong that there is the likelihood for regression in that sense. I strongly believe the right man is in charge of this program, and I'm hopeful that the development of our returning players and the addition of the right pieces in recruiting will offset any of that regression for the upcoming season. Big picture, this program is going in the right direction, and sustained success at or near the top of the conference is my desire.

Been pretty quiet around here lately so let’s start up a conversation!
Two bigs have been on recent visits to Milwaukee according to their Instagram pages:
Faizon Fields - transfer from Old Dominion Langston Wilson - transfer from Washington
Waiting for the bat signal to hopefully get some good news. But I know Rand is close with Fields and Ham is close with Wilson.
Not sure if we are looking to sign one or both. If both… I would imagine there might be a little bit of a shakeup with the current roster.
