Jimmy, it may be time to reactivate the "Black N Gold Club". Get some shirts, plan some outings, hit up a road game, daydream about Indy, etc. The possibilities are endless if you have a program that appears to be in good and capable hands. It's been awhile. Time to activate Voltron!

11 years since we were in first or evebn tied foir first - it just shows you how bad the past 10 years have been the last few years of jeters were mediocre , then laval only have a 9 win season before almost guiding the Panthers to a record setting (in a bad way) NCAA tourney bid. then we hire Baldwin , who would have 100 career losses by this point this year if he was still our coach.

You beat me to the punch. Solid win indeed. How about those FIRST PLACE PANTHERS! The sloppy last couple of minutes should serve as a learning opportunity for the players. It seemed to start with BJ's dagger gesture with about two minutes to go. The three attempt by Rand after an offensive rebound was not smart. The technical against Browning was ill advised. The reach in foul at the top of the key by Thomas unnecessarily stopped the clock. Had Fort Wayne made more of its shots down the stretch the big late lead could have been blown. The players need to understand the opponent is playing desperate and cannot let their guard down. Now that the Panthers are clearly contenders, they have to learn how to sustain success. It is part of the winning process. Bart Lundy will clean these things up. Learning opportunities like these often come after losses. It is nice to have them come in a road win. Yeah, I wasnt too enthused with the throat slash. Tbh, I'm surprised the refs let that slide. I'm definitely not get off my lawn guy, but didnt feel like that was necessary at all. Sorry man, you are showing your age with this one. Let them enjoy a huge win on the road. I agree, maybe not the best choice for celebration, but there are worse things you could do.

Awesome road 3-1 road trip.
Thursday will be interesting... Another <=2k crowd? Or a decent crowd? Regardless I just hope people are loud (and that we win).

The game wasn't even over at that point. A 9 point lead with 2 minutes is still possible especially if he gets hit with a T for the gesture. I dont think it has anything to do with my age. Just an unnecessary gesture IMO.

I forget the exact quote, but in his post-game interview with Warras, Bart made a comment about "character" mistakes at the end that we need to clean up. Safe to say the team will hear about it.

I am so impressed with Lundy and the squad this season. This has been such an enjoyable surprise of a season.

Just an unnecessary gesture IMO. A guy on the Chiefs was just fined $14K for doing the same thing after a sack against the Broncos. And D Wade was fined $25K for doing it several years ago. I was also surprised we didn’t get a T for doing that. I love the intensity that BJ brings, but that type of stuff isn’t necessary in my opinion. Plenty of other celebrations that aren’t “fine worthy” to choose from. I’ll trust that Lundy will emphasize the importance of that. And the importance of avoiding dumb technicals in the future. 15-20pt game with 2 mins left is one thing. But a single digit lead can disappear quickly on the road. All that aside… what a great day to be a Panther! Can’t wait for the upcoming homestand!

I simply fall back on this adage: stay classy, my friends. There's no in-between. We all know what's right and what's wrong. Don't put yourself above the team or the program.

I just discovered a way to hear all radio broadcasts on demand. The favorite clips for me are the Bart Lundy interviews during the postgame show. Enjoy! tun.in/tp8JzO

"I’m not gonna overlook what I did 'cause I know I was wrong. But once again, I just pray everybody forgive me … I don’t want nobody to feel sorry for me for what I did. Wrong is wrong, right is right and I was wrong in that situation.”
Exactly!
