Thanks so much for reaching out. Things are well. I retired in August at age 68 and loving it!!! Have not retired though from my following the Panthers. I am on the board multiple times daily reading posts. I did post something shortly before the season but deleted it as when I looked at it seemed to be still on the road of re-litigating Pear//Jeter etc. I am very pleased and excited with this years team and coach Lundy. Really getting be fun again. Sort of restraining getting too giddy until a bit more of a sample size so have been holding back posting somewhat along those lines. That being said could not be more pleased so far. To you, your family and everyone on this board best wishes for a wonderful Holiday season and New Year!!! Your friend, Steve King

Not sure why Fran has been so quiet. I hope he is in good health. He looked in good shape at ghostofdylan's wedding in the fall. |

I hope the people that have been quiet for a while return*- they may be compelled to return by March...  *if I remember correctly, nighthawk was pissed that Jeter and staff would not allow him to host a small party at his house for the team or something like that (and was just generally put off by the Jeter era). Hope many return and signup in the coming months. |

Fran tells me that he's fine. No apparent need to worry.
I really miss Hack's take on things and his sense of humor. Frankly, I haven't heard anything from him or jhart since the board shutdown. Good guys.

You forgot to mention that we're still waiting for cubanpanther's father-in-law to finish his speech. No joke people, this went on for 45 minutes but it feels like we've been listening for 13 months. I look forward to him making it to the majors as an ump so I can talk mad sh*t at a Brewers game. We saw Fran at Paul's wedding but he has been on the board since then. I fear we're waiting on a totally new regime to see him back, if ever. I know the punching situation at Marquette while Lundy was there soured him on coach. I was following Hack on Twitter as @pantheru but since that account got locked and those pricks won't accept my phone as proof of identity, I can't see who I'm following. It isn't "Hack" and I can't recall what it is. Haven't talked to jhart05 in years, texted with illwauk last May about logos/branding and maybe giving that another shot. Now that we're winning again we should revisit that and we need his graphic design acumen. I snap with dunnedeal every now and then, we're both excited for the coming USL team, haven't talked Panthers at all though. Holic is on Twitter. I won't link his account because I don't know if he wants people to make the connection or not, but he had a hilarious screen grab of a caption during the YSU game that he tweeted out. Hope many return and signup in the coming months. Nighthawk had made peace over that problem and was very active on the Jeter side during the civil war in 2016. We talk politics occasionally but I don't know how much he's followed the Panthers lately. |
