I wanted to put a thread out there specific to the event. I hope the visiting teams enjoy the city and the non UWM games are a success. I hope the students that are on campus for the holiday weekend have a blast I hope the city of Milwaukee gets behind this so it maybe would grow and get it into Panther Arena.

I hope you are right, it is a chance to show off our city, university, and fans. Given how difficult it seems to schedule games it becomes a plus. And with The Transfer Portal players can get a feel for the program to help with decision making.

Dang what happened to UC Davis? They were up on BU by 20 in the second half, now this is going to OT They went at least 12 minutes without a field goal in the second half. The first half was uglier (for BU) than yesterday’s game, but they chipped away in the last 15 minutes of the second half. I want to say UCD had a 26 or 28 point lead at some point in the second half and it may have been even bigger in the first half.

Thanks to UC Davis, Boston U, and SEMO, hope the Cream City Classic helped build up their teams for conference play. Down the road may be have these teams for home and home play.

It was a fun weekend, and I thought that all three of the other programs did a good job of bringing fans to Milwaukee! SEMO had some raucous crowds with having a few players from Wisconsin and nearby Illinois, and BU and UCD fans came from quite far away to cheer on their teams. No offense meant for past participants, but I thought the crowds for the non-Milwaukee games this year far exceeded the crowds from the Black and Gold classic a few years back.
