So, for most of you this is the first time in the Arena for the year. I want to see who will notice what major change has happened to the Arena. For the better by the way. 👀 So, what is changed in the building of the Arena? Hint, it was under your shoes. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to know how to get to the seating bowl without the arrows on the floor…

When was the last time we had a guard that could get to the rim and finish or get to the free throw line like Elijah Jamison? Maybe Jordan Johnson?

Your giving the answer and many still won't get it. I'm glad the 80's style .... is gone! Pretty penny to remove it.

I would have to say the closest comparison in that regard is DeAndre Gholston. Although I’m not sure Jamison is quite to Gholston’s level yet, he can get there

He could potentially touch some all time Panther records if he sticks around 4 years in this up tempo offense.

"I appreciate Cardinal Stritch being willing to play – it was very difficult to get this date filled when we were trying to schedule," head coach Bart Lundy said. "Obviously, it's Homecoming and we couldn't really move it. For them to be willing to come and participate was big."

One thing I didn’t see mentioned is that Justin Thomas didn’t play tonight. Did anybody hear why?

Brian Taylor Buy stock now Who does he cut out of the rotation though? Both games he’s played he’s looked more comfortable than just about anyone on the floor. Just makes the right play. Not sure if he plays this yesr but but In.

i was at the game. this was , as you might expect , an enormous beat down. we got 112 they didnt crack 40. there were some highlight reel dunks, and the team did whatever they wanted. if they had made a few more 3s, they probably would have topped 120 or even 130. we had a 24-0 run at one point and led by as much as 76.

I know that it was a weak opponent but I was impressed by the athletic ability I saw on the court, the unselfish passing, the quick hands on defense and what appears to be some depth on the team.
And as these guys play more games together they will get stronger.

Frankly, the team could have played -- or at least shot the ball -- much better. The effort was there, but the offensive execution was lacking. As in the three previous games, I loved the effort. A highlight for me besides the Cardinal Stritch student section was Zach Howell sprawling on the court when we were up 70. That kind of effort gets you minutes! Another positive sign was Angelo Stuart finding the range after a mini-slump. He will be a key component as we move into games that are a much better barometer.

I would like to know more about three things that were not evident on TV:
1. The Cardinal Stritch student section - Why did they impress? How many students? Where were they seated? Did they have any student section leaders? Is there anything they did could be learned to improve our student section?
2. What is the arena change below everyone's feet that PNP teased us about?
3. How was the post game experience? Did Bart Lundy and his staff mingle with fans at Goolsby's? Did anyone pick up on any interesting tidbits that can be shared here?

One thing I didn’t see mentioned is that Justin Thomas didn’t play tonight. Did anybody hear why? Radio just used the term coaches decision. I will add that he was deemed a "coaches decision" before the game started. So what does this mean? Usually this is what is stated afterward or in a box score when a player just does not play because of game circumstances. Freeman's absence in the first game was a one game "suspension." Edward's absence the first two games was because of "injury." I wonder why different terminology was used for Thomas.
