Biggest and loudest, absolutely. Arrogant obnoxious asshole, not so much. Yesterday in the Purdue game thread you commented you were impressed with the Purdue crowd. You stated they were not this way and you felt respected. I assume you were referring in part to their students. Wouldn't you rather have it that way for us? For everyone associated with the program to be on the same page, positivity is the only way to go. Negativity is a turn off for some. Jimmy correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this was a tongue and cheek attempt by Jimmy talking about himself 😀 Jimmy? Tongue in cheek?!

Yes, this befuddles me. Why treat the students as second class citizens when they are your best shot at creating a special college basketball atmosphere? Why do the same thing just because that is the way it was always done? Earlier this year we had a good discussion regarding apathy. This post may be worth another read for those interested. uwmfreak.proboards.com/thread/7899/attack-apathy100%! Students should be right up front and center across from the ticketholders, just like they do at Michigan. No they shouldn't! Many games 10 people only show up. Michigan makes it's money from billion dollar TV deal and putting 100K in Michigan Stadium. Plus, they had to do something as Michigan basketball crowds stink. Get the students in 221/211 at UWMPA if anything.

I’m a student and typically I don’t sit in the student section cause the view is obstructed by the basket and band and yes I agree it’s annoying when there’s a bunch of incompetent kids. Last time I sat in student section was vs Youngstown last year and some girl was screaming f*** the penguins the entire game and it was so annoying. Give her credit knowing YSU nickname. At least she listened to the PA announcer

I think if we played every game at the K it would bring in more students and a better atmosphere. . Is that you Andy Geiger?!? You must have not been around in 2012. Lmao. I was not. I’m a senior so I didn’t pay attention till my freshman year. I’m friends with Courtney brown Tyler Ellingson and Ryan Waddell so I started following them my freshman year .

I get what you are saying. It has been disapointing that the students seem not to make an impact on the action. I was more quiet than normal on Monday. I think for myself that is being the KC, compared to my spot at UWMPA. Maybe the players need to force the action towards the students. Meaning when you see players in sports yelling toward that area and waving their arms, saying LET"S GO! We also need some students to lead the way for others. I saw Dominic Ham (our Thanasis) try to engage the students on Monday while he was chanting from the bench. That dude is great. Full of energy from the bench. Didnt seem to help much. It comes down to student leaders willing to be the face of the section. D ham a great guy he asked me to run 5s with him at the k yesterday lol

Given our racehorse style and Cardinal Stritch's obvious vulnerability, we have a chance to set numerous school and conference team and individual scoring records. Is this something that you want to see? The league scoring record appears to be the 128 that Butler posted in a double-overtime loss to Evansville in 1991 and the school scoring record is 125 registered by our 2015-16 team against Judson. The program individual record is 50 points set by the incomparable Von McDade versus Illinois in 1990 and the national D-1 scoring record of 100, set in 1954 by Frank Selvy, appears to be one of the most unbreakable in sports. Should we go for the big numbers?

Both lower sections of season tickets holders at Panther Arena can fit on one side. It’s a win/win with nothing to lose. At least one side would look packed on TV.

So, for most of you this is the first time in the Arena for the year. I want to see who will notice what major change has happened to the Arena. For the better by the way.
