I was also amazed at the dunkathon last night. Lundy does like leapers. Thought it so different than past scrimmages of running the offense. The team looks in pretty decent shape. Liked all the freshmen including the Baldwin recruit. Justin Thomas is going to be awesome very soon. Freeman can’t shoot but can get to the hoop at will. It is going to be a very different year with this crew. Hopefully the Refs in The Horizon can keep up with the pace.

Love seeing these updates. I am really excited for this squad. Kind of reminds me of the Bruce Pearl transition, when the offense was high-flying, running and gunning. I love the quick pace and think it will challenge the Horizon quite a bit.
If you are a sports bettor, there's probably a lot of value in Milwaukee right now to win some games and maybe even place high in the Horizon.
I've got my eyes on that Iowa State match in Ames. But, wow that Purdue game is coming fast! 👀

Not sure how anyone got insight on the players since the scrimmage was an NBA all-star game with zero defense. One and one dribble of off balance jacks. It was just a showtime event. If I knew the format was going to be that, I would have stayed home. Yeah, I fully agree that it’s a fool’s errand to try to take much of anything from the scrimmage last night. The NBA All Star Game came to mind for me as well. The only things I really took from it were that this team seems very athletic (especially Markeith) and I thought Angelo Stuart had a pretty quick release on his three point shots (at least the two I remember that went in). But the scrimmage last night was definitely more about letting the guys have fun and letting them put on a show for any new or casual fans than it was about giving fans a chance to evaluate talent. |

Went to the STH practice today. Nothing major to report. Coach Lundy seemed to keep it G rated with people around. Rand ended practice with a monster 1 handed alley oop dunk. Most eventful thing of the practice.

A very responsive team at least. From what I saw, this team's very quick, so they're going to be able to double up on players, yet not leave anyone open shots.
