Breaking News : UWM New Fight Song

According to a press release published today, UWM has announced its new fight song.


Here’s an excerpt from the press release:

The Office of the Chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee announces the new fight song for its athletics program. The new fight song represents the diversity and equity of all Panthers, while fostering a culture of inclusion.

"The new fight song demonstrates our continued commitment of excellence for our athletics program at UWM," said Chancellor Mark Mone, after being awoken from a nap and reminded that the university has an athletics program.

"Today is an exciting day as we announce our new fight song,” said Director of Athletics Amanda Braun, who was available for comment, after taking a break from rereading the works of Niccolò Machiavelli. “The new fight song will enable our athletics teams to start to compete for championships.”

The new fight song is effective immediately and an introductory press conference is expected to be announced later today with a set location of the Alumni Fireside Lounge at the UWM Student Union.
