Hey Panther fans: A writer from the MKE Journal Sentinel reached out to me to see if anyone in our program still has connections to the Agbaji family, as he was hoping to do a story for the paper. After I told him I was not aware of anyone in the department with connections anymore, I suggested I could reach out to the fan base. If you know either Olofu or Erica (Young) Agbaji well and would be interested in speaking about the family, please reach out to me at czills@uwm.edu and let me know a little bit of your backstory as soon as you can.
Thanks and have a great day. Chris Zills Milwaukee Athletic Communications

The best I can do, Chris, is share with you what an explosive leaper Olafu was. He obviously also did very well at our School of Architecture & Urban Planning. It's truly amazing what a rapid climb Ochai has made in basketball and life.

Olofu is a City Planner for The City of Kansas City, Mo. He has been interviewed in the Kansas City Press recently because of his son’s success. Erica also played for UWM. She is a professor in Kansas City. I am not sure of her employer. I think you could reach out to one of the Stations in KC that interviewed him. He was a perfect fit for UWM. Tough as nails. Great shot blocker and rebounder.

What advice did Olafu have for Ochai on the eve of our Dec. 10, 2019 game at Phog Allen?
"Don't beat us too badly."
