In fact, I think that he's done a MARVELOUS job of shoveling dirt on our grave.

Well. It's a slightly better showing than Wednesday night.

DTP, look at our "energy" level on defense. Yes, it's just a matter of time until the dam breaks.

If we can just hang with Wright State for a half ... we might only lose by 15!

If we can just hang with Wright State for a half ... we might only lose by 15! Well, that dream’s fading a bit.

How long did it take PBS to put JT in? I stepped away and didn't notice.

In their last three halves of game time, the Panthers have scored 22, 17, and 23 points. And frankly, they’re lucky to have 23 points in the first half tonight. Gholston’s selfish play to begin the game actually resulted in a few circus shots going in.

Imagine what the score would be if Wright simply shot badly instead of terribly that half.
We might find out in the second half.

Totally out of context but just thinking out loud- in spite of 9+ years of mismanagement by the AD, we have a much more active fan base than most low-major/low-mid-major schools based on discussion forums I check out across the country. Heck some teams who are in the top 3 of their league have next to noone following the program. We have a U of Pittsburgh/U of Cincinatti-like urban research university with tons of rich history and fans as well as bandwagon fans chomping at the bit to see something that reminds them of the Pearl days. What is it going to take to get someone to take Athletics and specifically men's basketball seriously? I still think Jeter could have and should have buried Amanda Braun in a lawsuit the second she broke the inane news of his firing just as we were being announced as a CBI/CTI (lesser post-season tournament) invite (for on-the-job harassment dating back to 2013), but he's not that kind of person. We are SHACKLED to a director who cannot lead and cannot advance any of our programs. And that's a pity and a darn shame, I say. But perhaps like The Lord of the Rings, "it was pity that stayed [Jeter's] hand..." and Amanda Braun will have some necessary part for good or ill to play yet, in this never-ending Milwaukee AD drama. It's kinda surreal how this season has played out. In a normal universe, the HC and the AD would be shown the door (the former for 5yrs of bad performance and the latter for 9 years of not just bad performance, but actively DAMAGING performance- damaged the brand, torched the bridge to virtually all of our donors with significant money, documented as having disparaged players (in uwm.edu emails) and treating their parents with disdain/contempt for simply asking why their kids were being used as pawns, documented as using AD employees as pawns to manipulate actions and events, documented as having harassed one of our head coaches on multiple occasions over multiple years (that's really, really unacceptably bad when you think about it). Tell me again why our Athletic Director is still Amanda Braun? I would not trust her to be a teller at the local Associated Bank let alone be in control of a once-proud institution that needs a leader who can actually lead and understand the past (obstacles*) to create a better future. *ie: - things that have held us back from the MVC and potentially other better conferences over the years (Horizon is not headed in a good direction..)
- things we were unprepared for when Pearl took us to the S16 and promptly jumped to Tennessee forcing our hand pretty quickly
- things that foster and encourage a "basketball? pffft" culture that allows a Rec Center to double as an athletics practice facility
- things that drive up (or down) student enrollment and student/alumni attendance at games
- things that led to our AD basically excommunicating an entire class (2014-2016 "It's Just Us") of players simply for the sin of having been recruited by/played for her choicest target for harassment
- student body opinion of "school pride" change from years we were really good (2003, 2005, 2006, 2011, 2014 vs. other years, esp. the last 5)

How long did it take PBS to put JT in? I stepped away and didn't notice. I think he was brought in with 12:02 left to go in the half, but to be fair, that’s when the under 16 timeout occurred. Not many breaks in action to begin the game.

FYI, Marcus Domask (who?) is averaging 14.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season at Southern Illinois.
