I'm starting this thread proactively now that the Horizon League need a 12th member to replace UIC next year. And since Bellarmine is the only crystal clear, head-and-shoulders above all others choice out of all available options, the HL couldn't possibly mess this up... right?

I think it's essential that the league bring in a program that is much like ours. A public University located in a major midwest metropolis, an attractive road trip destination city, whose basketball program is absolutely competitive with our own.

Lol. Thank god Chicago State doesn't have baseball, or I could see the bureaucratic mensa minds of the HL adding them just to have a school in Chicago, just like they added IUPUI just to have a school in their headquarters city.
