NKU -2. Somehow...only -2. Wow, that’s really surprising. This seems like a clear time to bet NKU (that is, if you’re ok with betting against your team), but I guess there’s a reason Las Vegas has all those big towers. Maybe they know something we don’t? |

Five straight games at home thanks to the HL's scheduling. This is a HUGE opportunity. Especially with several of these games being televised, the athletic department needs to up its game. Time to hand out "paid attendance" tickets at every youth group, social services organization and under-bridge encampment in the metro area. Or at least have some interns tape cardboard cutouts of fans to seats near the court. And for heaven's sake, make sure the TV camera mounts are jammed so they can't elevate enough to show any view above the first few rows, in case the chancellor hits the wrong buttons on his TV remote while trying to find the Mr. Bean marathon and stumbles on the broadcast.
Yes, if our department works hard enough, I see no reason they won't be able to claim later that we had "paid attendance" in the (gasp) four figures for the entire five game stretch! Victory!
Oh, as for the games? Meh.

Panthers start out well with a 7-2 lead and then *SHOCKER* they give up 8 straight through poor shooting and pathetic rebounding to give NKU the lead.

It seems like the Panthers have a hard time reaching double digits at the 10:00 mark in the first half every game. The last Panther point was PBJ’s three, and that feels like ages ago.
