Congratulations guys! No one called tonight's game an embarrassment, which usually happens after a game like this.

"Our guys are angry about tonight," coach Pat Baldwin said. "They want to fight. Our guys, they're giving me everything that they have. Now, we need production with the fight."

"He's progressing towards being ready," Baldwin said. "We're planning on hopefully next week that he tries to make a go of it. But we'll see how he continues to respond to the treatment and his work."

But we have had nothing but that for nearly six full seasons since our AD flushed a winning men’s basketball program down the toilet. By the way, someone should look up the record Braun and Baldwin have delivered after the middle of January for the last five years. Put it this way: look out below. |

But we have had nothing but that for nearly six full seasons since our AD flushed a winning men’s basketball program down the toilet. By the way, someone should look up the record Braun and Baldwin have delivered after the middle of January for the last five years. Put it this way: look out below. The line of demarcation for our "coach" is Jan. 23. His record after that date is 12-33, but that includes a 6-5 record in his first season with Stull, Nze, Bell, Prahl, etc. (Remember those guys?). So his record with HIS OWN GUYS after Jan. 23 is a robust 6-28. Look out below!!!!! |

we end up losing 77-53. this might be the worst game I've ever seen UWM play.. and I've seen some BAD ones. Two that immediately leap to mind are Concordia St. Paul in 2017 and Tri-State in 1998, but this was certainly among the FIVE WORST! Oh Tri-State. The glory of the Ric Cobb years losing to the at the time NAIA powerhouse. Being at the Klotche in those days was a treat. Only a few days after that debacle was the blizzard game vs Detroit where I think they counted the 1 dude working out in the weight room as part of the 50 people in attendance. Maybe like 5 'fans' in the stands for that one. |

You know PBS is clueless when over and over again hear the same thing:
We "just" did not get it done
We "just" did not execute
We "Just did not rebound"
Just, Just , Just, if only we Just..... the big one - We just need to get tougher, we just were not tough enough..funny now they were tough enough but not just need to execute....just just just - how about just putting your players in a position to win....coaching your guards of which you were one in college to pass the ball, take care of the ball , not chuck up stupid shots...very little ball movement on this team....did you see last night they only had like 9 assists and the two assist leaders each had two.....holy crap it is bad

I was at that Tri State game and that was definitely a low point. Could not believe we lost at home to them....I can still hear Damion Ninkovics parents relentlessly heckling Ric like they did at all the games and screaming, Ric, put in Bryan (laFave) - For Rebounding!!! Ric!!! Ric!!! It was brutal all the way around. I do remember the Klotsche popcorn was good though that night

Steve, we also always hear that this team has "fight." Maybe PBS should look into being a boxing or MMA coach...
But maybe not, I would hate to see anyone get killed.

You know in some ways remembering the loss to Tri State at this historic Klotsche shows that things can get better. Feels like we are at that low point now but with the proper coaching hire maybe....oh yeah, there is still the elephant in the room crushing the concept of sustainability....administrative support and commitment
