It certainly appears as if this will be UIC's last league visit to The Arena ... at least for a while. Would it be appropriate to give our longtime rivals a standing ovation for successfully rescuing themselves from the abyss?

Warriors at Bucks at the Fiserv at 6:30. On TNT if you can't make it. And for those that prefer college basketball, Ohio State at Wisconsin at 6:00 on ESPN2.
I'll put the over/under line on PAYING fans for the UIC game actually IN the arena at 400. And personally, I'd bet the under.

I can't believe we have made no progress in the last decade or so to earn an opportunity to jump off this sinking ship (Horizon). |

Tonight’s game against UIC will be the program’s first home game against a D1 opponent (barely) in a full month, since the Rhode Island game on December 13. On Saturday IUPUI comes to town. The excitement is palpable!
These two games are, by far, the most likely pair of wins left in the schedule. Kenpom predicts a 67% probability of victory tonight and 90% on Saturday.
We are 3 1/2 hours from tipoff and I have seen nothing indicating whether PBJ (or anyone else) will not be playing. Let me emphasize that it really shouldn’t matter for these games. UIC is ranked 290; IUPUI is 355.

I too, am mystified by our coaches' and our AD's handling of something as routine as an injury- for 3 of our players, all 3 of whom were expected to make an impact this season. 1 of them a big impact maybe... If the kid’s hurt, he’s hurt, and he shouldn’t play. But what’s the point of holding this information until so close to game time? Heaven help us if things are so bad that we can’t afford to give UIC a game-planning edge of knowing that one of our players is out.
Nobody would care about this if he hadn’t been the centerpiece of the ticket sale strategy. The department made its own bed.
