The excitement is gone already. But I suppose that's what 5 years of losing due to incompetence at the top - not just coaching - will do to any fan base.
At this point, I'm actually expecting them to give coach Baldwin an extension, because what's another year of losing basketball lol? Clearly it doesn't mean much to the people running this program. He may be a nice, good guy, but that's not enough qualifications to earn a HC position at the D1 level - and he clearly lacks the other ones needed.

I think that I truly understand how a Bears fan must feel. After five/six years of this, I'll settle for an entertaining, competitive game that holds my attention for a few hours. I no longer expect to see victories against any team with a decent coach and a pulse.

kenpom ranks: URI - 81, UWM - 214. kenpom predicts Milwaukee has a 32% chance of victory, and predicts a final score of 67-62 in favor of Rhode Island. This is probably not just the team's last realistic chance to get a top 100 win this season, but its only remaining chance to get a non-conference win against ANY team in the top 300.

Or, okay, behind you or in front of you. Hell, put it anywhere, there'll be room.

Thanks, Steve! I miss those on the board who no longer attend games and the many who long ago abandoned the program. I truly understand why. The university needs a men's basketball team that represents it well now more than ever.

its always fun to make fun of the bears. the Packers could become the NFL's all time winning-est regular season team this season, if they win out and the bears lose at least 3 out of 4 , the bears lead is just 2 games. as for the Panthers, well to say this season has been disappointing and failed to live up to the hype would be a massive understatement. this Panthers team is like going to an Amy Winehouse concert and expecting : Back to black' era Amy, and instead getting drugged out of her mind Amy that quits halfway through the show.

+1 hilarious analogy, prob. true.
I think we'll win tonight. It'd be a step in the right direction. We've got too much talent and the season is still long (with mostly weak competition).
Let's go.

The Panthers have seemed to play better over their past two games than they did before that, and even that YSU game isn’t looking devastatingly bad as YSU has looked pretty decent lately.
Having said that, I’m still predicting pain tonight.
