Think we should all relax. Does anyone believe we will be in the sweet sixteen. But who knows? It is a long season. This is a young team. Give them space to grow. OMG we lost to a top 25 ranked team. Can the team learn from this loss. Let’s hope.

That game was not as close as its score. Florida had much better players at every position.
As for the coaching, look, the last four years have definitively shown where we are there. The hope is that with a stud recruit and some moderately talented (from a midmajor standpoint) surrounding pieces we can still make a run in the HLT.
But let’s be honest. That’s the ceiling without a complete reset of the program. PBJ isn’t coming back. The NBA drafts on age and potential. He’s a first rounder. The other players in the program are just guys.
So enjoy this year for what it is. We’re capable of being competitive in a bad league.

Can the team learn from this loss. Let’s hope. Fair point, but this isn’t a one game thing. It’s been like this for over four seasons now. I don’t think PBS has improved at all. There’s talent on this team, but we play like that? It felt like there were more air balls in the second half than made baskets for Milwaukee. PBJ included. |

Coaches can’t shoot but need to recruit shooters. The young guys may be the future with or without PBjr. It is early in the season, I choose to be patient. But we need shooters period. Mid Majors can only compete with the big guys with shooters. Shooting is about confidence and technique. Let’s get them in the next round. Give it time. That being said our post play needs to improve. Did I say shooters too often. Sorry!

That's an average of 12-18 per season.
However you slice it, that's by far the worst since the Ric Cobb Era.
How does this get better after PBJ and Josh leave?

My emotion is further removed from last night's outcome and I've had the night to receive and review texts from a gaggle of longtime diehards who no longer die hard.
Here's the question: look at the final score, fellas. How does Patrick make any difference with this coach and "system?" We were going to get to 45 no matter who was doing the scoring ... I think.
Don't get me wrong: it's great to claim a Top-5 recruit, but we aren't appreciably better than we've been the previous five years and that's ... sobering.
