The school will take anyone spell their name right. Find talented juco kids that don’t have many other options which is a lot of what has happened Out of their top 4 scorers, as well as their top 4 in assists, one was from juco. Of their top 4 rebounders, all transferred in from other schools.

Who cares where your players come from.
Id take JUCO transfers if it means winning basketball.
Example: See Bruce Pearl 2004.

Would like to see Coach Lundy reach out. Even though he could help the Panthers some on this board would be upset with us taking Saint Jeter's players.

Would like to see Coach Lundy reach out. Doesn't hurt to reach out but, realistically, this guy is trying to see if he can go big time. We are not big time. Yet.

This must be fake news. Jeter does not lose players other than L Boga, S Boga, JaRob McCallum, Jayquan Mccloud, and others of less stature....btw...do not get this fascination with WI resulting in a post lauding them....two years there with losing records inlcuding the most current..sixth seeding in conference tourney and one and done. Oh they did beat a Big Ten team once early on .....boy this sure sounds like deja vu to our experieince.....

In the past 12 seasons as a collegiate head coach, Rob Jeter has an overall record of 185-192 and a conference record of 101-103. Also, during the past 12 seasons as head coach, Rob Jeter has one NCAA appearance which came as a 15 seed.

Did Jeter commit some kind of heinous crime of which I'm unaware? I mean, he seemed to be an honorable man while he was here. I wish him well and would hope that everyone here could do the same.

I think there's continued push back regarding Rob Jeter as a coach because some here continue to propagate a narrative that Jeter is a great coach. Jeter's record as a coach says otherwise. I for one, am glad to move forward and I'm grateful that Bart Lundy is the new coach.

I for one, am glad to move forward and I'm grateful that Bart Lundy is the new coach. Exactly. The primary reason for still criticizing Jeter is repetitive provocation by one particular poster which is supported by a small handful of others on this message board. I have nothing against him personally and I doubt anyone else does. It was not his fault he was offered the job and subsequent extensions. I would have done the same thing. The ongoing criticism is mostly about rebuking the referenced poster's repetitive revision of the program's status during his tenure here. In other words, "Jeter Derangement Syndrome" is this message board's offset for St. Rob Mancrush. Without the provocation, Jeter would not be getting nearly the attention he does on here. Hopefully as we enter a new era, we can all move on. It will likely depend on the amount of further provocation, if any, and the urge to respond to it.

WIU finished 4th in the standings and will play St Thomas. Waiting after that if they win, will most likely be 27-4, Oral Roberts.
