Sinani isn’t very good yet and he’s only a freshman. Don’t expect him to play at all this year. Unless we have foul trouble only 2 center will play minutes and the coaches must like JSP and Bol more than Kane. Funny because Sinani and Kane stood out on Oct. 30 as guys who can get minutes. I thought Kane was better than Bol. I agree! I thought Kane looked better than Bol in both the scrimmage and the exhibition game. Sinani was the 2nd best player vs MSOE and I think he’s going to very very good, not sure where this “isn’t very good” stuff is coming from. That being said, I think redshirting him this year would make a lot of sense and I think he could be a starter right away next season.

Sinani didn’t enter the game until the 2nd half when they practically let him run the whole offense against a d3 team. Don’t think those circumstance will come up again this year.

Did anyone else notice that PBJ had 11 and not 10 rebounds?! OK, so I watched the game a second time.

I don’t know who he would leapfrog to see the floor. I agree, redshirt him, as he will be needed in the future. Kane may get more playing time in the future. Perhaps in the UND game, coach felt the game suited Bol and his skill set more. I bet we see more of Kane.

Why would a mid-major redshirt anyone anymore? Could somebody help me out and name the last true freshman scholarship player the Panthers have had who stuck around for four years or five years with one year as a redshirt? How long has it been? Some of it is because of three head coaches in the last eight years, but the mid-major game has changed overall in this respect and PBS may not necessarily be around Sinani's potential five years.

Few and seemingly a different era.

[ Redshirting also doesn’t make sense when PBJ is on the last year of his deal.

"Redshirting also doesn’t make sense when PBJ is on the last year of his deal."
Actually, PBJ is on the only year of his deal. PBS is on the last year of his deal. Allegedly.

Just an update here from this game: stat changes finally official. PBJ with 1 more rebound (now 11) and 2 more blocks (now 3) JSP with 2 blocks (from 0) Lathon from 1 to 4 assists. Couple of others, but that was the major stuff.
