This was not a bad game. VBJ made up for his missed FTs lol.

The Good: We won and we didn't jack up too many bad 3's.
The Bad: We still stink at rebounding.
Overall though, I liked how we played. Vin Baker Jr got some flack on this board, I for one thought he looked awesome tonight considering how long it's been since he's seem game action. I liked Lathon's game too. I thing our ball handlers in general did a solid job of controlling the pace of the game. Watching PBJ this year is gonna be fun.

Solid win...wasn't the prettiest but a win is a win to start the season. PBJ with a double double as well.

Nice touch getting PBJ after the buzzer. I'll take 21 and 11 in his first game.

15 pts. Not bad. Every time it looked like UND might make a run and bring it close, we responded with smart basketball. Loved Newby (Melo) at the point. VBJ is better than I thought he would be. JSP needs to not foul so damn much.
Good win. Again, we played a middle of the pack Summit team, but glad it never got close. Coach had a good game plan. The team executed well outside of a few reckless shots. No need for this team to settle for long, contested, 2 pt shots early in the shot clock. PBJ could have put up 40 if we needed him to.

Pleasantly surprised by VBJ's debut.

So good to have college basketball back! As one who passionately follows only Brewers baseball and Panthers mens' basketball (and to a considerably less extent GCU mens' basketball) the four week gap was all too long.
Also great to have Panther basketball back on the radio, with full pre and post game shows to wrap around video streaming on TV. The post game show features the return PBS' comments and now a player interview when the Panthers win. Hopefully Good Karma will be happy with the UWM partnership.

I'm watching the Bally Sports telecast on ND Insider. For those listening, has Warras mentioned anything about Tafari Simms injury? Scott Warras did not ask PBS in the post-game interview. He did speculate Simms appearred to have "tweaked" his back.

No action for Jasin Sinani? Where was Kane? Sinani isn’t very good yet and he’s only a freshman. Don’t expect him to play at all this year. Unless we have foul trouble only 2 center will play minutes and the coaches must like JSP and Bol more than Kane.

I thought Kane was better than Bol.

I think that we should go over available eligible years again. This super-senior stuff is NUTS (and Izzo wants to know)!
