I may be the only one on here interested in this but will comment in case someone else is.
What an outstanding event at Slinger last night. The packed house and seven figure audience watching live on CBS saw a terrific event. Dave Kallmann reported on JS Online that there were at least 37 lead changes in the 150 lap main event which included iconic names like Andretti and Tony Stewart.
NASCAR and other major sanctioning bodies have sterilized auto racing and made it as boring as ever. However, the SRX organizers have successfully created a fun realty TV event that nicely fits into a two hour window and brings back relevance to local short track auto racing for the first time in decades.
As someone who has attended several events at Slinger Speedway on and off since it was built in it's current configuration 50 years ago, I am proud of how well it looked on live prime time TV. Having attended a handful of events at four of the five other venues on the schedule, I can say that this series is really cool!

I flipped it on for a bit last night. I was surprised by how many different divers from Indycar and Nascar were in it. Looked great on CBS.
