Per the team's Twitter account, Sydney Staver and McKaela Schmelzer are coming back thanks to the NCAA's decision to extend eligibility. Bre Cera is done. That leaves Miqela Santoro and Brandi Bisping from last year's senior class unaccounted for.

I don't know which lol She'S been saying that since the season ended I don't know why she couldn't/wouldn't say earlier. But I'll take Staver and Schmelzer coming back to go with the players they have returning. It takes some pressure off younger players and gives them more time to develop.

And then there was only Brandi Bisping to hear from:

I liked Miquela Santoro's comment: "..couldn't leave Milwaukee without playing with fans in the stands."

ASODFJASDIFJADOIJASDGIOJAOSIDFJDOI I really hope she comes back!!! Update (that I've known for a while...) she didn't Should still be very good even without knowing what any of the 238432983274 freshmen bring to the table, but I'm sad.

I am optimistic about the season, and skeptical about the upcoming pre-season poll. The returning players were significant contributors to a good season. This time the Panthers should have the benefit of a full non-league season to get them ready and start working in the newcomers.

Haha fortunately for me, it sounds like at least one other person is gonna help hide my preseason picks for HoriZone Roundtable so they don't make you angry

Hey now! My All-League picks were MILES better than the coaches' last year!

Kidding aside, i respect anyone who makes the effort to look seriously and try to guess how a season is going to turn out.
I don't know enough about sports in general for my guesses to be accurate. I know it's entertaining to watch the players play the games, and that's enough for me.

Preseason poll: horizonleague.org/news/2021/10/18/womens-basketball-iupui-voted-hlwbb-favorite-williams-named-preseason-player-of-the-year.aspxTakeaways: - Milwaukee finishes second in the voting, but no one picked the Panthers to finish first.
- Green Bay gets one first place vote. IUPUI got the rest.
- The consensus appears to be that Wright State will no longer be a contender. If Katrina Merriweather had built up the program from oblivion, I might agree. But she was building n the success of her predecessor. I won't be surprised if the Raiders finish considerably above seventh place.
- The Panthers won't be flying under the radar this season.
- I wonder how much of the prediction that Green Bay will finish third is carryover from previous years.
