I'm going to have to stare at this thread a few times to make sure I'm not hallucinating.

I’ll be honest, guys. I haven’t felt like this after a game since we knocked off Green Bay back in 2014. Hopefully we can keep the momentum for these next several days. Cleveland State is beatable. Let’s not forget it’s the same Cleveland State team that was on the wrong side of a 40-0 run against Ohio back in December. And obviously we all know what happened in our second game against them this year. But let’s not forget the first game when we fell behind 23-2 and ended up taking the lead in the 2nd half.
Should be a good one on Monday night!!

We have a chance to do something this year that Marquette won't: make the dance. Bucky is in , as usual, they'll be a 6 or 7 seed.

If I start my rant now, do you think we can avoid the 24-point deficit?

Whens the last time the men and the women were both in the semifinals ?? They both made the tournament in 2006...and honestly that'd be my guess.

The Women's team last made the tournament semi-finals in 2015-16 and 2016-17. In 2015-16, they won their semifinal game and lost to Green Bay (who else?) in the tournament final, and got the league's auto-bid to the WNIT.

By my count, our all-time record in the league tournament semifinals is 7-3. Our losses were to Butler in 2000, Butler in 2010 and Wright State in 2018.

With the 6 days between games, the heads should be out of the clouds.

We are 3.5 point dogs. No Kool-Aid needed for this one. We are the better team. We played them well when we weren’t clicking and firing on all cylinders like we are now, and tomorrow night we will play them especially well. If for some reason they do have a late lead, they should be, and will be, very nervous after what we did to them and recently WSU late in the game.
I honestly don’t think we will need a late comeback. We match up with this team well, and coach has been doing a good job of using timeouts to calm the team down and stop the bleeding. G of D is going to rant early to avoid the 24pt deficit.
Seniors continue to lead the way, and Dre and the under classmen will come up clutch and when we need them. Panthers by 7-8 pts.

And let’s not wait until the end of the game to play stifling defense and force turnovers. Let’s bother them right from the jump.
