Just tuned in to a soccer game and they played a unity anthem? WTF is that? I dunno but our national anthem is fairly average. I mean hell, it's about a war in which we got our asses kicked. Say what you want about communists, but their anthems are cooler. |

yeah the war of 1812 didnt see the country gain much territory- we picked up a few islands in upstate New York- and were lucky to get the lands occupied by the British- including much of Maine- back. the national anthem is also not an easy song to sing well.
