I was hoping to avoid the #2 Wright State in round two. I like my odds versus Oakland or Cleveland State, compared to Wright State.

I like my odds versus Oakland or Cleveland State, compared to Wright State. we probably avoid Wright state if we win. remember, they reseed after each round. if all the top seeds win, we stay as the 8 seed and play the 1 seed. if 1 team lower than us wins, we move up to the 7 seed and play the 2. if 2 upsets happen, we move up to 6, and platy the 3. if all the other game are upsets except ours. we move all the way to the 5 seed and play the 4.

I likely missed something and it doesn’t really matter. But how is 8-12 Green Bay a better seed than 7-10 Milwaukee?? And how is Oakland a better seed than both northern Kentucky and Detroit??
On top of that, I just now realized the tournament is a week earlier than usual. This conference is wacky.

On top of that, I just now realized the tournament is a week earlier than usual. This conference is wacky. The conference seeded teams using a formula that considered four factors: Horizon League winning percentage, strength of schedule, weighting road wins vs. home wins, and number of Horizon League games played. The conference tournament ends at the usual week. The Semi's/Finals are March 8/9, that is the same weeks the major conference start.

I’d be interested to see the exact formula used, because I can’t think of any method to replicate their results. I’d be pretty mad if I was Detroit.

The other thing that my buddy from Green Bay mentioned is that GB is just flatly playing better basketball right now than UWM. Honestly, it's hard to argue.

Milwaukee -5.5.
Survive and advance. A win tonight gives us all another 5 days of hope.

Milwaukee -5.5. Survive and advance. A win tonight gives us all another 5 days of hope. Plus, the 2nd round is ESPN+. Total waste of money for ESPN+. Last 10 games have not even been on ESPN+. At Kansas State (which is Big 12 TV rights) and two homes games versus Purdue Fort Wayne ended up being all the games on ESPN+. We were told that all games HL games would be on ESPN+ and not espn3.

But it's nice to see some other HL games on ESPN+.

But it's nice to see some other HL games on ESPN+. Sure, yet I find myself more on college hoops games on FS1, BTN, CBSSN, then ESPN. Plus, I have two TV's in my den.

I think both WSU games were on ESPN+. Do you know how to sort through the conferences and access it through the HL tab as opposed to looking at the “playing now” section?
