With all of the games they have missed/get cancelled recently, they just wanted to do WHATEVER it took to get that game in yesterday. The forecast was better to the North, so we moved the location ... sorry if it caused any inconvenience. No worries at all. Was just curious why. Weather is a factor in March and April, as we can all look outside on April 1 and see SNOW! lol And often in May as well!

Evidently, the Beacons need more hope and more light. Always feels good to beat them!

The baseball program finished this year with a 20-30 record. It's the third straight losing season and fifth in the last six years. The program hasn't made the NCAA tournament since 2010 and hasn't won the regular-season conference title since 2013. Scott Doffek has led the program for 16 years and has a 412-431-1 record for a .489 winning percentage. He has posted six seasons above .500 in his tenure.
To me, it is time for a change. There is too much talent in this state and the Midwest for us not to be competitive. We also have a new facility. The program is irrelevant and needs a bolt of energy and new perspective.

Very overlooked story and should be HUGE source of pride. Daulton Varsho is only UWM Panther to make the major leagues. Beyond that, 2nd round draft choice, Arizona Diamondback minor league player of the year three years ago. This year he hit 27 home runs!!!! Get this, he is a finalist for gold glove award at two positions, right field and utility in the national league. I was listening to a White Sox game on radio in August vs Arizona. Darrin Jackson was literally raving about Varshos defensive abiiity in right field, speed , hustle , jump on balls. He said he was a difference maker in the game and the series and is jist a tremendous player. Would be great to see the Journal Sentinel pick up on this would be a great story. ould .

Wild finish last night for the Panthers, taking down NKU who is currently in first place. Scored two in the bottom of the 9th to walk it off against the top offense and number two defense in the conference. Highlights: www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuQge8FVOA4Skip to 3:45 for the ending Two more games this weekend with a chance for the Panthers to get back near the top of the conference and make things really interesting.

milwaukee stays alive with a 10-8 extra inning win. they'll play the Wright state- Oakland loser in an elimination game. if Milwaukee wins that game, they will advance to the finals, where they will have to win twice to gain the league berth into the NCAA playoffs.

I wonder what his contract was in term of years left. Sounds like it's time for fresh blood.
