The Panthers WNIT game will be streamed on flohoops.com. It's a subscription service, but they don't say how much it costs unless you sign up.
You can listen to Matt Menzel's play by play on the Black and Gold network, and follow the live stats broadcast for free.

It costs waaaaaaay too much lol ~30 bucks for a one month subscription. You'd get to see at least two Panther games in the WNIT. If the Panthers win their game with Drake, you'd be guaranteed at least three games. Plus you could also watch the entire CBI to see how Cleveland State fares. Who could pass up such a deal?

St Louis holds off DePaul 74-72, so we'll play the Bilikens if we win tonight.

Not a bad start: Panthers up 7-0 on 3-3 shooting.
Even better finish to the quarter: after a scoring drought, the Panthers score the last 11 point of the quarter and lead 20-7.
The Panthers are not playing like a team that has been idle for eleven days.

Up 30-12 at the media time-out in the second quarter. Megan Walstad has 10 points, including two three-point shots. She could have a double-double by the half.

The bench has been pretty much emptied.
Brandi Bisping with 19 points and nine rebounds. Megan Walstad has a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Sydney Staver had 10 points. Kendall Nead and Miquela Santoro had nine.
Final score 84-46. Milwaukee shot 60% (12-20) from distance and nearly 95% (18-19) on free throws. Overall they shot 44.3%.
First win over Drake after eight losses.
Up next: St Louis tomorrow night. The Billikens won at the buzzer 74-72 over De Paul. The Panthers have won five of their seven previous games with St Louis.

Cleveland State wins its semi-final in the CBI, 64-54 over Stetson.
Interesting game to follow. The Vikings were up by two after one quarter, and by ten at the half. Stetson spent the third quarter reducing the deficit to one, but could not re-take the lead. Cleveland State spent the fourth quarter building the lead back up. Mariah White was the third leading scorer for the Vikings; she was hampered by foul trouble, and was disqualified on on offensive foul with about a minute and one-half left. Destiny Leo, who made the league all-freshman team, led all scorers with 21 points for the Vikings, including a couple of late three-point shots to keep the Hatters at bay.
(A propos de rien, Hatters is now number three on my list of favorite college team names: behind the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs and the UC Irvine Anteaters.)
In the consolation round for the WNIT's Rockford Regional, Drake played about as well as they could in beating De Paul, 100-91. No, that's not a typo. The Bulldogs averaged 2.5 points per minute. They hit 17-34 from three-point range. In the other consolation round, Bowling Green beat Dayton 77-76. They will play Drake in the consolation final.

The Panthers played really well out of the gate against Drake last night. St. Louis started out playing as well, and the Panthers played nearly as poorly as Drake did.
SLU was up 23-12 at then end of the first quarter. The Bilikins outscored the Panthers 8-2 to start the second quarter and the lead was 31-14 with four minutes left in the second quarter. The Panthers went through scoring droughts with predictable results. When St. Louis went through droughts of their own, the Panthers could not capitalize.
SLU was called for their second foul with about 10 seconds left in the half. Brandi Bisping took advantage, and scored as time expired to lower the lead to 33-18. The Panthers shot 32 percent for the first half, and only 20 percent from distance. The lack of foul calls meant the Panthera had only one free-throw attempt for the half, which they missed.

Let's just cut the deficit down to a manageable number in this third quarter That aint happening tonight, I am afraid. The lead reached 42-21 before the Panthers really got going in the third quarter.
