A middle-of-the-pack finish would be a "good" result.
Perfectly stated and nicely done, Commissioner!

Not surprising, one of the guys i'm most excited to watch. With his size, athleticism and shooting ability he could be a very good player in the HL.

Would presumably mean Jordan Lathon would be immediately eligible, which should be a lot of fun!

I did notice that The Journal preview of Panther Season listed Lathon as a key reserve for this season. I thought just another mistake someone made. Maybe they know more than we think.

That is good to know! I am glad Todd is covering the program. I hope Lathon can play with Lucas. It should be a dynamic duo in a conference that is guard orientated. Let us run and press and show the Horizon League what Panther Basketball can be. So impressed with the Women and three wins against good competition. The Men’s program needs to step up as well.

Would presumably mean Jordan Lathon would be immediately eligible, which should be a lot of fun! Assuming of course that he's as good as some advertise ... and there are games. That second one is the bigger concern for me. Even in a shooting slump, he averaged 5 PPG/4.5 RPG/3.1 APG/1.1 SPG and a 1.8:1 A:TO ratio for a team that was WSU-caliber for most of the year before dipping to...~NKU level by the end of hte year. Also he did it against stronger competition. I wouldn't say he's another Te'Jon, but a guy who can make it so we have 40 minutes of really solid PG play a night after playing most of his minutes off-ball. IMO, I'll take him over Oakland transfer Zion Young. Demonstrated similar scoring ability on a similarly crap team in 2019, then shifted to glue-guy when transfers made UTEP's KenPom rating jump by 100+ spots last year. My thought is: even if he doesn't get back to the 40% shooter/35% 3pt shooter he was as a freshman (when he averaged 10.9 ppg), you're basically getting a guy who produced like the guard version of Grant Basile last year. If a guy like Grant Basile was able to transfer to Milwaukee and play right away, I wouldn't say no.
