It's frankly hard to stomach all this turnover. When's the last time we had a FULL roster?

2019-20 was a full roster. Huh? We were down at least one scholarship player, right?

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest impact, these transfers combine to a four.

Most teams in 2020 have this many transfers a year, and most people that transfer (besides grad transfers) are generally non impact players.

Caleb Nero. Zach Cameron. Jonathan Brown. Omar Thielemans. Dylan Alderson. Marlon Ruffin ...
When you have a dozen or more guys like this who are with the program for 100 days or less, how on Earth will you ever know if they might have grown into "impact players?" One man's trash is another man's treasure. When BP arrived, he didn't cast everyone off. Coach 'em up or recruit better!

My memory could be fuzzy, but did Nero, Brown, Cameron or Alderson ever even spend a day on campus ? Also, every guy you listed is at least on their 3rd school or transferring to their 3rd school if you count UWM. It sucks, but it's just how college basketball is now.

Alderson just left Toledo to NAIA. Not a big loss there.

Nero & Alderson were commits from the Jordan dynasty and de-committed when he left. They've amounted to nothing so far. As for PB's recruits - Brown is a backup at Tenn St, Thielemans averaged .6 ppg at South Plains college this year & Zach Cameron left Pacific during the season for personal issues. He wasn't doing much before that at Pacific either. Ruffin is the only one who got away.

Also, every guy you listed is at least on their 3rd school or transferring to their 3rd school if you count UWM. That in itself is a question you should have about your coach's recruiting philosophy. Why is he recruiting guys that already had commitment issues at another school? Most mid-major powers are built on 4-5 year players with a few JUCOs or transfers sprinkled in. You cannot build a strong foundation for your program when you are replacing 1/2 your roster every year. LOVE this post! Please study it, fellas.
