Any suggestions from clowns are appreciated. In Voodoo we talk about the The Positi and The Negiti. You be the Negiti that will be balanced by the Positi. As for Jeter I stayed with him during the best of times and worst of times. He needed to move on after making 4 million bucks. How could they have resigned him again. It made no sense to anyone that he deserved another contract. So which circus are you coming from. So, are you claiming that there's some "earnings limit?" That's insane. Bo Ryan made that per year in Madison (or damn close to it, Fran would know..) Winning and good coaches cost money, I'm afraid. Which is why this university will never attract another one. Too many envious liberals around who can't stand someone having a larger paycheck than them. Honestly, that's been the biggest beef with Jeter from everyone I've ever talked to. Far more than lack of winning. I can't imagine how hated Bruce would have been, had he taken the $900K per year or whatever it was he was offered to stay. It's never been about winning with you people. You're jealous about the money. If Bruce had stayed, our program would be i a completely different place. Especially after 2005, we had cache thanks to Bruce, his coaching staff and players. Now I'm not suggesting that we would have gotten to the Elite 8 or Final Four, but I'd wager we would have made more than 2 NCAA tournament appearances in the past 15 years. Love him or hate him, there's no question Bruce can coach. We certainly wouldn't be 12-17 right now

There’s a lot of parity in our league.”

What a ridiculous puff piece. Obviously written before the latest disaster and the JS just found a day to squeeze it in and weakly adjust it.
Re: the commentary about coaches' salaries. First, I'm a dedicated liberal and have never envied anyone about anything, but that's just me. I'm also a private sector guy. You pay what the market requires for talent. As it happens we are paying PBS almost as much as we paid RJ. Who was the obvious bargain by that comparison? If I told you that PBS could immediately elevate his results to match Jeter's if we made up the small difference between their salaries, is there a single fan left who wouldn't sign up for that instantly? To go from perennial doormat to perennial contender?
As a private sector guy I have also had substantial firing authority. It astonishes me to see who is NOT being fired on Downer Ave. In the private sector no business could survive allowing incompetent employees to linger in the organization.

Courtney's reaction to missing the shot would argue otherwise. I can definitely believe they're lacking confidence and probably feel a sense of hopelessness.

Rest easy, everyone! Bobby will be back next year!!! Unless Bobby breaks into Markus Howard's house at night and magically steals his talent ala the Monstars in Space Jam, he's not going to be THAT big a difference next year.

As a bench player, that’s not a bad thing. He has some toughness that has been sorely lacking from this team.
