Regardless of what happens against Youngstown, Milwaukee is gonna finish with more wins against Top 5 HL teams than bottom 5. Now that's looking at the bright side! Ugh.

"A tough loss," Baldwin said. "I thought our guys played extremely hard and that is what I love them for. They gave a great effort and it's unfortunate, from our standpoint, that we didn't make the last play to win it."
"We have to pick ourselves back up and get ready for our next one," Baldwin said. "No time to feel sorry for ourselves. Cleveland State made the play that was out there for them."
"Give Cleveland State some credit," Baldwin said. "They played really well defensively and took away some of the things we wanted to do at the offensive end. They played us much better than they did in the first half."

"This isn't the time to feel sorry for ourselves."

Tired of politics here and there. That is why I try to focus on the game. Braun, Jordan, Jeter, Baldwin all players in the drama that motivates the competitive drive in us. One take away was that we used a 1-3-1 zone last night with some success. It led to some fast break points and turnovers. Last night was my last game for the season as I will be traveling for the next couple weeks. It has been a difficult season. We should have a few more wins and looking better going into the tournament. After the game I watched the end of the Ohio State v. Nebraska Big Ten matchup at Olydias. Both those teams were making as many stupid mistakes as are made in the Horizon League. The difference is overall quickness and size. Being the eternal optimist I sent more money to the Roar Fund. I will renew my season tickets.
It seems to me when Baldwin got the job with little time left to recruit he decided to go somewhat big. Losing Nze was huge. He needed to be replaced. Poor decision by the coach. You can’t teach quickness and that is lacking on this team. Allen, Sessoms and Henderson give it their best shot and I give credit to Baldwin for staying with them but they are not DI players. So we move on and need to find better players. Coach has 3 years to do it. The players are out there, many right here in our backyard. I believe the program can win and put alumni like myself in the seats even with a hated AD who I really don’t think about that much. We all want a savior but often neglect that hard work, devotion, and loyalty are more valuable. I will give Baldwin three years. He is close and I anticipate better things ahead. I can already hear the sighs out there for my naïveté and blindness. So be it my friends.

"Give Cleveland State some credit."
I'd LOVE to! Clearly, they have hired a coach that can run circles around you, Pat! Add them to the litany of schools that can say that.
Soon, McClain will be gone, and EVERY coach in the HL will be running circles around you.

We all want a savior but often neglect that hard work, devotion, and loyalty are more valuable. Rob Jeter had all three of those things, despite years of administrative incompetence, and you were one of the clowns who couldn't be rid of him fast enough, so save us the b.s. Baldwin has no loyalty to this place. He's collecting a paycheck in the hopes that his son can parachute him out of here somehow. Unfortunately, his incompetence as a coach becomes more exposed with every game, foiling his plan. So, were stuck with him for now, but it sure as hell won't be for three more years!

Any suggestions from clowns are appreciated. In Voodoo we talk about the The Positi and The Negiti. You be the Negiti that will be balanced by the Positi. As for Jeter I stayed with him during the best of times and worst of times. He needed to move on after making 4 million bucks. How could they have resigned him again. It made no sense to anyone that he deserved another contract. So which circus are you coming from.

vs. Western Michigan up 76-71 with 0:19 remaining in the game, Josh Thomas fouls, DeAndre Abram misses 2 free throws, Milwaukee allows a 3-pointer and it goes OT and then 3OT. Result: 115-110 Loss How did this physically happen? You could have put the 4 babies from the baby race out there against Western Michigan and they wouldn't have given up 5 points in 19 seconds. 😣

Any reason why Anturro Bingham did not play last night? It can't be because he shoots too much. It's not like others know at times what a good shot is.

Bo Ryan made that per year in Madison (or damn close to it, Fran would know..) Winning and good coaches cost money, I'm afraid. Which is why this university will never attract another one. Too many envious liberals around who can't stand someone having a larger paycheck than them. Honestly, that's been the biggest beef with Jeter from everyone I've ever talked to. Far more than lack of winning. I can't imagine how hated Bruce would have been, had he taken the $900K per year or whatever it was he was offered to stay. It's never been about winning with you people. You're jealous about the money.
